This first few leaves can be funky sometimes. I often just remove them. As long as the new growth is coming in healthy your golden. Experiment all ya want. Your not going to hurt her at all guiding them branches. Your just setting the stage so she can give you all she has to offer.
The grow I'm referencing basically resulted in a very similar plant to a topped one or one of yours I think the only difference is how young the plants are when training starts. I figured I'd try it with the floating screen in its future and see what happens, maybe I can fill the tent

Also for some reason I can't post pictures, I can only attach them...I can't use the bold or that whole bar I don't understand what the issue is
Send @WeedHopper a pm he can look at it when he gets time. He is an Admin

I haven't really been on here much the last few days but I've got 3 tops so far and a few underneath starting to develop.

Just gave her another watering but with higher nutrients. I gave the clone a little too, curious what happens with that. Otherwise things are going just seem kinda slow right now. Maybe the nutrients will give her a boost.

I ordered the good stuff too so future planting and clones goes better
Also thanks to @MariJan and @WeedHopper I got the picture problem fixed

So that clone has no hormone gel? Odds are it won't root. I've done some in water without doing anything and they rooted but it's rare and takes forever.

Try taking the clone at or close to 21days flower if ya want a good chance of rooting and regeneration. Just wait till day 21 and then defoliate and snag clones. More than one so ya got better odds.

I just took some 7wk clones from the DP. My others are failing so I took more. If they don't root I'll regenerate the stump. This do isn't getting away..lol

Yep the one in the bottle doesn't have gel on it, it has new growth though just no sign of rooting and since it doesn't hurt anything to keep it around I just haven't tossed it.

I'll keep that in mind because I think I plan on taking a clone from this plant instead of doing seed, idk we will see but I wanted the gel just in case

Honey and aloe vera work good if you don't have a rooting gel. I bought a rooting gel snd still gave better luck with honey

Is this stuff better?
Its the exact same except the 2 ounce version is ripping you off. I paid $20 fir the 2 ounce the first time because I didn't notice it was 2 ounces. The 2.2 pounds in like $23 ish. But only by a few dollars and it lasts a lot longer than ounces.

A friend of mine just harvested this plant..it's his first plant. He said he took her because he was gonna have frost last night and he got worried, he didn't check the trichomes because he didn't know to but this made me curious...does a first frost hurt cannabis?

Yeah man, frost can destroy some bud. Some plants can handle a little nip in the air. Some just fold up n die..lol.

Plants can stand some cold temps but that frost is deadly as it is to all plants.

Your buddy prob made the right move. There are ways to extend the season. Some clear plastic does the trick. Or if they are mobile they can be moved under a large shade tree or brought in under some cover.

I'll send him a screenshot of your response!

I didn't know what it would do since I'm not doing anything outdoors I really didn't know. You always have the best information and articulate it well. I appreciate the help and info

Definitely healthy. I'd let her grow upwards a little while. Maybe remove some leaf and open it up a bit.
