like a 1/4", not far at all.
What i did now was to take the 4 dried up seeds i removed from the dirt and placed them back into a cup of water, maybe they will grow?

When i plant them, do i need to water right after?
A detailed account would help, as if you were explaining to a 7 year old, lol........

Ok well here is part of your problem...when you put them in soil there was to be no light on them "YET"....they need to still be in a dark/moist/humid enviroment....only when you see them sprout is when you put the T5 lights 1-2" from the tops....as far as the 4 you removed and put back in water....do they have tap roots showing?? if yes, then go buy some Superthrive and add 1 drop to half filled cup of water and let sit in a dark place for 24hrs(just 1 DROP!!!) then when taproot is a lil longer and white re-plant in soil with NO LIGHT ON THEM!!!
