Oldest is a '99 and the newest is a '07.

Had a slant six in my one and only Dodge. You changed the breather cap on the rocker box every spring. If you forgot, it would blow every bit of oil you had in the crankcase up into the carb and would foul all six plugs. It got 10 miles to the gallon off a cliff with a tailwind and would top out at 67 MPH with your foot through the floorboard.

I had a 74 Slant Six in a Dodge B-100, which my live in girlfriend returned home with and noted that it was making a lot of noise. I went out and started it, to find it knocking badly and the oil light on.

I found the problem to be a hole a rock punched in the oil filter and replaced the filter and oil so as to hopefully be able to drive it to the shop for an engine rebuild. As soon as I fired it up, it went knock, knock, clatter, bang and then smoothed out and quietened down. I put another 100K on it before selling it and except for a slight drop in oil pressure ran fine.

My van is a Ford, if you want to call it that. The engine and tranny were made in Mexico with a license from Mazda, the body was made in Turkey, and I bought it in the USA.

Bought one Dodge in my life. Never again. The Jeeps were made by Chrysler. The Old Hen and Pullet drive Chevy's.

The only pos Ford that I've owned was my first car, a 1953 Fairlane flathead V-8. Cracked block, lost auto transmission twice, and the brakes twice.

Since then I've had a 58 Ford, a 60 T-Bird, a 67 T-bird, and two Sunbeam Tigers with Ford powertrain. All were good cars.

My 53 Chevy was a junker and I went through two 235cu six-cylinder engines in my 1955 Chevy.

I've had a 74 Dodge B-100 and a 300, both strong and reliable. I blew a hose and overheated our 85 New Yorker and had to redo the heads, but it was otherwise a good vehicle and all three Jeeps by Chrysler have been excellent. The first had the American Motors 4L six, the second the 5.2L V-8 (Chrysler 312), and the current one a 5.7L Chrysler Hemi.

My only vehicle weak spot was for t-birds. Had a '70, '76, and a '90. All great rides. The 1962 off white convertible Thunderbird has been my favorite ride since I was little. Otherwise, give me anything that stats and go's.
