ok. i did a search and it didnt come up with anything. but i was wondering if you could switch a plant to flowering just to sex it then back to veg.if so how long will it take. or someone could tell me how to or if there is a forum all ready just put up the link. thanks.

I heard you could have a plant up to 2 weeks after flowering then back to veg without issues. Of course the sooner the better. I could be wrong and I hope someone comes along and gives us clarity.

The better thing to do is take a cutting from the plant and flower it. It stresses your plant and takes up alot of time to get it growing normal again if you pull it in and out of flower. If you sex a cutting of it, not only can you keep your parent vegging heathily, but you can also have a clone or two of that plant when all is sexed and done.

While yea, you CAN do what you're asking, its the worst way to go about it.

yea you can but it will take around 2 weeks to flower and about 3 weeks to start reveggin, i would just cut a clone and flower that and keep ur main one Vegging, that way you can avoid adding strees to it and you can have an extra clone

I Have read that you can cover a lower shoot with a type of breathable black bag but i have had no luck of finding such a thing. I just sent mine into flowering at 12 inches and ended up with great results... Well so far anyway.... It said that you can early sex your plants without disturbing or changing the grow cycle.

Ditto to Blanco.
Definately possible and not difficult to do, just time consuming mor then anything. Keep in mind that unless the plant in question has preflowered, it is not sexually mature and putting into 12/12 will not sex it immediately... though it will as soon as it is sexually mature.

I don't know about early but the plant will preflower in veg, showing it's sex and that it is sexually mature.
