In my case the scion and stock were about the same size. I kept them both, and growth accelerated a week or so after I set the graft.
Yeah, it sparks my interest as well.
Hey, @CrashMagnet This graph thing. Man this would be a great thread. Ever thought of sharing all this? I'm interested in learning what you did.
I'm planning on trying some air layering but a graph is a whole nother thing.
I started messing with grafts last year. Here's a link to my first post on approach grafts. I messed around with grafting branches from one plant to another as well, but had limited success. I had expected, for example, that grafting an ABC branch to a THC Bomb plant would allow the branch to grow faster with the greater root system, but it didn't work out that way.
Yeah, his thread on it was pretty interesting and informative.
I followed along religiously.
Definitely worth a read.
Looking back over that thread, with all the weird crap I was doing, I wondered how I managed to grow any actual weed.

That is an impressive looking plant.
Went over to a buddies house yesterday.
Took a few sample bags with me.
He was super impressed with the SSDDxGoji OG.
Said it was the best weed he had ever smoked in his life.
We smoked about 4 joints in a row, and were both so high that we couldn’t do much more than giggle and drool.
I can honestly say that I don’t believe it has a ceiling.
If you have this stuff in your library, and haven’t popped the seeds yet, you need to.

There's something about homegrown that has that extra kick. I gave my daughter a bunch of the Sugar Black Rose I grew few months ago. She gave a bud to her dealer. He called later and said it put the whole house to sleep. *** did your pops put in the weed?

Let me check so many have sent me beans but thats awesome to know. Sound like good migraine meds. I like to medicate to the point I got to go to bed. ( usually to the point of drooling)

I know its family stress related. They will leave when family calms down. Dad is in a rehab hospital. He fell 4 times on monday. All day Tues I was on the phone with the VA and several Drs. Wed by 5 pm he was in a rehab hospital. He is recovering. I thought he was on his way out so stress. Lots of it.
Sad to hear about your Dad. That getting old stuff is hard on everyone. Good to hear va got him some help.
Glad to hear that the VA is involved. Hopefully that is making your life a little easier.
VA is a good thing. They saved my life and continue to provide great care for me.
