Nice looking buds. They look like a breeze to trim.

Actually, after doing the math, I let her go 84 days.
They were a breeze to trim. From my experience, though, those big fat, easy to trim buds, ain’t as potent as the phenos with the smaller buds.
This time may be an exception.
I am getting pretty good at squeezing the buds, and hitting the humidity about right.
I jarred these earlier today, and after returning home about 4 hours later, I discovered that the humidity was pretty much perfect.
I snatched a bud out of there, carried it upstairs, ran it through the grinder, packed a cone. Lordt, I am high.
Of course, I am gonna have to smoke it a couple more times to be sure, but right now, I am soaring with the albatross’s.
@gardentroll , I name everything I grow, because of my wife.
She doesn’t care a whit, about what goes on in the grow room, all she cares is that I am growing weed that passes her standards, and her standards are high.
She is, as a matter of fact, quite the connoisseur.
But if I rattle off, this is the Super Sour Double Diesel x Goji OG, she looks at me like I have broccoli growing out of my ears.
If on the other hand, I tell her she is smoking Sour Go Juice, she remembers the name, and can tell me where she ranks it with the other strains I have grown.
So as far as my wife is concerned, SSDDxGoji OG, is Sour Go Juice.
Ya gotta admit though, that’s pretty catchy.
Disclaimer, I was still really high when I typed this.

I always obsess about over drying. The squeeze test sounds interesting. Obviously a feel thing though that can’t be taught. I have a few ounces from some early harvest HB(when I was thinking bud rot was going to ruin my whole harvest). I have unjarred it at least 5 times and put it back in a paper bag. It is finally in the cure zone. I am curious if the buzz is different from the 14 week flower I did in my tent(
).
I would rather over dry a little, than under.
It’s a lot faster to walk it back up, as opposed to burping it down.
If I am a little low, I put a drop of water on my finger, and smear it all over the inside of the jar lid, screw the lid back on, and let the added moisture absorb into the buds.
I can usually have it where I want it in about 4 days.
If I overshoot, and hit, say, 70%, it seems like it takes me over a week to burp it down.
I know some will say that the slower cure will be better, I can’t say that I can tell a difference.

I over dried one of my CDSRxNDU plants. Like you, my wife couldn’t care less about genetics, she just wants good, smooth smoke. The over dried plant makes her cough and she does not like that.
It was the first plant I had ever over dried since as I said, I obsess about it. It does seem like it takes at least a week to get the RH from 70 down to 65. I don’t really have good control of the humidity in my house so it is a crap shoot once the plants are in the ‘cure zone’ so ‘burping’ the jars frequently doesn’t do jack to reduce humidity. It can take me a month to get under 60. It is a pain in the a$$ but I am set in my ways and would rather it take longer than risk having ‘princess’ cough…
@gardentroll, after doing the math, I ran her 88 days from flip, to chop.
I'm a bud squeezer too. I dunno how it works but it does. Semi crispy on the outside and firm not hard to the touch. Usually by that time small stems snap. I don't have any of those little hygrometers.
That my process too. I just check the grove bags the first few days if they feel like they are getting sticky I lay them out over night. That mold don't play.

A buddy in high school, 34 years ago, had some very memorable weed.
His cousin was married to a guy that grew.
I think lately, I have figured out what strain he was growing, and I have a line on the seeds.
Anyway, the story is probably just really memorable, because it was the first time I had really gotten high.
And Lordt, was I high. I missed the same turn 3 times in a row, while doing 5 miles an hour.
Seriously, this is the highest I have been since then.

I am over at my buddies house right now, and brought the dogs with me.
I smoked some of that Sour Gojuice on the way over here.
Once here, I noticed Rex was acting funny.
Finally figured out, he is HAF from a contact high he got on the way over.
Now, this dog has rode around with me plenty, while I was smoking weed, and I have never had this happen.
I told y’all, this stuff is good.
He will be ok in a few hours
Next to come out after that, is pheno #2 of the Sour GoJuice @gardentroll (SSDDxGoji OG).
It’s supposed to come out in 3 weeks, but I think we all know that ain’t gonna happen just by looking at her.
I got a couple plants that I can rotate around her, and let her sit for a few extra weeks.
What will actually, probably, come out next is this Skunk Monkee.
One of my bag seed crosses that I actually popped for a 2nd time.
This stuff is actually pretty damn good.
I would love for someone on here to grow it out, hint, hint.
