Believe it or not, once they've been kept in captivity, they lose their poison. I guess in the wild, they eat some kinda bugs that makes 'em secrete the poison. I've seen them at herp shows. Pretty little buggers.

Figured yall might like some puppy pics from last night's road trip/mountain camp out. I had some mushrooms on the way up it last night and when I finally got there and laid back in my seat to watch the stars it was the most amazing thing. The sky almost seemed like a wave with the way the stars were shining, had to quit staring bc I felt like I'd blow away haha then this morning was just as gorgeous, Ole boy had a good time wandering around so I'd say it was a good trip for us both. Yall got any good stories of late?

Let's just say 2 tbls spoons of it and your watching the walls move... doing that breathing thang when you feel a wee bit to high.. but it hit ya hard and fast and went away fairly fast, 2hrs... he said double my dosage.. NOPE.. actually backed off to just one and that was fine...
I stashed a half oz of it for a friend from here and, I cannot find it anywhere.. never stash stuff really high, no telling where you mind was at... sorry GT muh bud.. enjoy your trip to NY anyway...

I found a nice piece of eight by total accident. I met Mel Fisher and showed it to him. When I told him where/how I found it, he said,

"This is from the Potosi mint and this coin was minted in 1653. Because you found it off Ft. Lauderdale, it is very likely a coin from the Nuestra Senora de las Marivillas. That makes it very special in a crazy sort of way. This coin was shipwrecked twice."

I asked him how the hell he could come up with that, and he answered:

"The ship was held up because it was supposed to take on the silver cargo from the Jesus Maria de la Concepcion, but it sank and it took a while to salvage and put it on the Nuestra Senora yadayada. The date is from the silver on the Jesus Maria."

So I gots a sexy piece. Of eight. Sunk twicet. Howzat fer fargin rare?

Good morning big and all the other morning folks. Maxwell House and Banana TK this morning for me. Got the outside of the back side of house washed yesterday between raid drops and mixed sunshine. bought deck Paint/stain the other day to try and make my deck last another year so I may start slapping that on today if it doesn’t look like rain. Hope everyone has a swell day

Moar about my piece of eight -- I found the coin in 20' of water off Ft. Lauderdale while sitting in the sand working on my scuba strap.

So when I asked Fisher how the heck could it come from a ship that sunk in the Bahamas, I got this:

"It is what we call a dump coin. When a treasure ship is breaking up, its cargo would spill out, lightening it and allowing it to drift with the wind. The ass-end sterncastle of that ship has never been found. Your coin fell out of it."
