Morning. My back just reminded me I went fishing yesterday.

I wish I had a great story to tell but not even a nibble. Lake is a mess. All the rain has turned the fish off. Floating debris everywhere. Had to keep an eye out for floating branches. Not good on a boat. Plus way to many people.

Shame on me, but I came in for a break. 85 degrees with a heat index of 95. Never found the donor deere parts, but I found a few tools that I was missing/needing. The storm is dragging its feet. It was supposed to be here at 1500 and now they say 1900. It'll get here when it's ready or maybe never.

Came in from washing the porch deck down getting it ready for paint. Taking a buttermilk bacon biscuit buzz break and then will find myself in the hot sun on my assets trying to get all the stuff between the deckboards out that the sprayer didn’t touch. I’m not complaining, we finally have sunshine. SPF 50 r us

Next I gotta run to the grow store for a new carbon filter. If I don't do that Mrs Pute will find something for me to do.

Went to a celebration of life for a dear friend yesterday. Saw folks that I had not seen in 20 years. Unfortunately, it was 100 degrees with humidity in the same range and no wind. All the grand kids had fun playing in the river. Then the wife dragged me out to the casino until 3 AM. The big one was always going to hit, but not quite. 11 AM hotel checkout came dam quick.
