Stew I don't have no blue dream but I do have some Joey's cut c99, and a cross of c99 and northern lights.
Cinderella 99 is a beast strain. And i know Northern Lights is a super high yielder. Both are such fast growers. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on either for the current cycle.
Gonna pop my 2 Northern Lights x Skunk seeds in the next week or so. Thinking about a 8'x4' SCROG on the short wall of the grow room. With my supercropped pineapple express right next to it in the 4'x4'. The 4x4 will need 2-3 nets about 4"-6" apart for bud support because the PE is going to get FAT..

Posted in your other thread but I guess this one is taking off.

Welcome aboard. Awesome grows. I look forward to seeing more. One hell of a seed list. I see Scrog and supercropping mentioned. Right in my wheelhouse. Anxious to see how you do it.

With time and patience lots can be achieved.
Thanks for the welcome and kind words. I will be more active in my new thread now that I transferred my freshly started journal over.
I once read an article in high times about a 99 gallon monster plant. It had been used as a mother for 10+ years and clones were all over California, I cant remember the strain but it was something that grew massive plants outdoors and was extremely popular in California 10 years ago, could even still exist today.. It looked like a bonzi tree on steroids. The pot was abnormally shaped and pieced together, with new sections added in anually to allow for further root development. It was quite an eye opener. Just reading about the development of that plant made me do all the research on supercropping.
My first try failed mainly because I was scared of killing the plant. It just bushed out a bit and was never tied down. Once I had more than 4 plants going I could experiment a little more and made some huge plants indoors.
The Blue Dream was in a 15 gallon pots and took up 1/3 of the tent I had going.. I could have easily stretched her into a 4' round beast but that was right around the time my home life was turning upside down so I just flipped the tent and got what I could out of everything.
I've never done a SCROG before, but I have done all the research 10+ years ago. I'm sure ***** changed a bit by now for increased productivity. Feel free to drop some knowledge into my journal to use as reference in my current op. The current SCROG planned is with 5 auto flowers but with the size of the room, I'm sure we're going to do more than just autos in a screen.

We are 100% keeping a cutting of the best phenos we find in the current setup to grow out as mothers in a tent for future crops, and future seed propagation..

Awesome, I learn things from folks like you. I've been back at this growing gig since last Dec and haven't looks back. Fell on my face the first crop but like ya said....time n patience pays off.

Scrogs haven't changed. They are still the awesome growing method you've researched..lol I take a different approach to scrogs I call floaters. Gives me the efficiency of a scrog and keeps my plants mobile.

I throw the kitchen sink at plants when it comes to stress. Lst, hst, supercropping, monster clones and then add a floater. Been a winning combination for me.

I learned how to grow using a framed scrog. I've just tweaked it a little to suit my needs. Rarely will you see a plant in my flower tent without a floater..lol

A little tip for autos n screens...as you already know it's a little different with the autos when it comes to veg time. Kinda unpredictable when it comes to knowing how much veg time you'll get. With photos ya just flip and go when your ready. With autos ya know your time is limited. Ive been using floaters on autos lately. They respond well to it but nothing like a photo.

For a scrog id suggest a photo reg or fem. To start off. Pick a strain that is known to get leggy. You can control it well with a scrog.

My two cents...lol. I'm glad ya returned to MP. We're gaining some really good growers in here lately. Good for all of us. Definitely a plus from the community.
