Day 42

Updates have been sporadic as I've been working out of town and had the wife caring for the plants. She did well!

Gonna do some fan leaf trimming to open up some airflow/let light penetrate further in to plant.

I'm thinking another 10 days ish and I'll be flipping them to 12/12. Too soon? Not soon enough? What say you fine people?

Hey bud, tell your wife she did indeed do a fine job!! They look great.
As far as are they ready to flower?... Do you see female pre-flowers at the nodes? When they appear usually they appear first on the 5th or 6th node and around week 5 or 6 of veg. Of course, time will vary by strain and pheno. When these appear the plant is mature and is "ready" to flower. That being said, they will flower when you are ready for them to flower.

Thanks for the info, especially about the light i was looking for info on VIPARSPCETAR 600 anyway...
Had the same idea of using oil diffuser with only water for humidity like others havent set it into motion just yet tho

I'm very happy with this light so far! I bought a second one because they were on sale but i doubt I'll use it. 600w for a 3x3 seems to be on the money but of course time will tell!

Out of town for work again, so here's the latest pic from the wife. Will be switching to 12/12 next Friday, or day 58. Will also do another light prune for airflow/light penetration.

The girls are looking happy n healthy.

Will have to move the light up before this grow is done, next time I'll likely switch to 12/12 a couple weeks sooner. Learn something every grow!

Real challenge right now is the current cold snap at home. Most days are around -15C to -20C, dipping down to -25C overnight. Which puts my garage right around freezing. I anticipated this so when I switched to 12/12 I set the light to be on overnight to help with the coldest part. Also built a shroud around the intake on the bottom of the grow to insulate the space heater which helped. The garden still isn't as warm as I'd like but it's working.

Dealing with same thing brother spend my days trying to keep Temps right dang weather is all over the place . 20 degrees one day 60 the next makes it rough

Girls are doing well, so far looks like we made it through the worst of the cold snap without any major issues popping up. Moved the light up a final time and now the fun part - water, wait n watch the magic happen! One of the pics was taken with wide angle to show a top down perspective.

OK Click on pic above to open it
once it opens (same pic comes up)
Now put cursor (pointer arrow on pic) and right click and choose Copy
Once copied go back to you 1st original posting and see if you can still edit it
if so click edit at bottom of page
then get back up before your wording and click above or next to left side of it on screen.
Then right click mouse again over the pic
and choose paste (this will paste the pic at beginning of you thread )
Then Hit SAVE button at bottom
I can see if @WeedHopper can do it for you , if you can not
