I just have one plant - casual grower - its laughing buddha strain and it started flowering about 2 months ago but now the days are darker here in the UK the flowers have stopped growing at this small bud size. How can I get the buds to fatten up? Can I just blast it with 24 hours light and the occasional feed?
It has been grown inside using daylight coming through the window - no tent or growlights etc but the occasional nutrient feed - and it seemed happy with that over the summer but now just seems stuck in the small bud phase and some of the lower leaves are starting to die so Im worried the plant will die before the buds fatten. I switched to a higher P K fertiliser when it started flowering
Does 24 hr light work at this late stage or will it just confuse the plant?

Welcome to The Passion.
Where did you have this plant?
Indoors, or out?
If indoors, did you have it in a grow tent?
We need a little more information.

Don't put it on 24 hours of light unless you want to stop bud production and go back into vegetative state. 11-12 hours under some sort of grow lights would be the answer to fattening up your buds. As far as lights go, your wallet will be your guide. LED's are the popular vote, but the options are varied and many.

I had a feeling you were gonna say that.
Sounds like the plant lived in partial shade all its life, with a lot of influence from ambient light.
I doubt it ever had the opportunity to develop to its full potential.
Get a small tent, bro.

If it was me I would instantly kick it on 12/12 light and hope for the best. If it agrees with the plant you might salvage a half to a full ounce but they just aren’t going to gain much weight.

Figure out a closet to put a tent in England windows simply don’t have enough light days and grey skies won’t help you which is what you have the most.
