I watched Cassius Clay back when he was in the olympics. Once he started his pro career, I prayed every time he stepped in the ring that someone would knock the cocky outta him. Nobody could.
His fight with Joe Frazier was the best fight I ever saw him in. He later said that it was the closest he'd ever came to dieing. Said Joe was a power puncher and when he hit him on the forearms while he was blocking him, it hurt!

That seems to be a given in far too many areas these days.

I used to live within walking distance of that area but I put Rochester in my rear view mirror decades ago. It is now one of the top 5 cities in murder per capita in the US. But at least there is equity and preferred pronouns so there is that…
