Think I'm cutting out early.... been a long day, urgent care this morning to find out what's wrong with my
right legs inner calf.... just above my ankle I have a red knot I thought was a burn off the heating pad.. but kept getting worse.. Dr was concerned it might be a blood clot... so had an Ultrasound done at 4pm and get the results tomorrow via video appt..... after my pain pump refill I thought was Tues the 6th... nope, the 9th. Great, now my vertical dyslexia is acting up too.... man.

The Old Hen is propped up in bed, book in hand, snoring her fanny off. I used to could tell when she was going out 'cause the book would dip down and then she'd recover and repete. She can hold it straight and still be asleep now.

I hate it when I fall asleep with the book. I lose my place when that happens. Friday yay. Making 50 lb of sausage this weekend. And grinding another 15 lb for ground meat. Almost deer season and I’m just now processing the sausage from last year.

Good morning, Misfits. Been a flurry of activity this morning. Squawkers fed, seed stocks replenished, custom orders from Lee received, and now a quick van load to head to Goodwill. Probably get a second load there before gym time. No rest for the wicked, but I'm relaxing for a minute or two. Back has not been happy with the last efforts to bring a semblance of order around here.

The gym and then a walk through the park with Miss Layla where we scored four tennis balls for the HS pups, and she ran into her best dog buddy Bruno for a joyous reunion.

Grayfox's 76th birthday today which we will be celebrating with dinner out and I bought her a new pair of gym shoes that she has been coveting. I actually gave her those last night and complimented her on how nice she looks in them in her card this morning and that I though it made her a.ss look smaller.

You sure you don't want me to send you some salve. That works so well on back pain. Dads bones are fused and compressed plus riddled with cancer and he says it helps alot. He was asking fir it at the hospital. The hospital was in Tx so I wouldn't bring him any. They gave him Volterin gel and he told the Dr the stuff I make, works better and smells better too.
