Christmas Dinner

We generally have a catered affair for Christmas with casual attire.

Yep it’s just us so we do Christmas Story and to honor the movie we generally pick up Chinese takeout for dinner. But you know Thai sounds pretty good too.

Anyone else do non traditional?

Well that’s one way to start the year clean. However if that is your intent might I suggest the ultra reliable Taco Bell?

We do Prime Rib, twice Baked Taters, a veg and homemade dinner rolls. Plus deserts Rhubarb pie

We have done Chinese Buffet the day of last few years and we are doing it again this year.

However we do have the trad. Dinner at my brothers this weekend.

Shared it with my Fur Boy leo , and he ate half.

I have never followed "tradition"
My parents and grandparents hate me for it.
I don't even do breakfast aside from like cereal, maybe eggs and toast if I get wild.

Christmas Eve dinner for us. Pretty traditional overall. This year was turkey, ham, and venison, and some green stuff in between the real dishes which I also ate. I would have gone for some lamb and prime rib, though. Only thing I won't eat are the collards. Still too full to even look at deserts.

I made all the desserts vegan this time , but they technically are already vegan… strawberry/Rhubarb and cherry/blueberry
Peanut butter cookies those I subbed eggs with 1/4 c applesauce and vegan butter. They taste like real peanut butter cookies . I was surprised. At Thankgiving they brought sone vegan desserts and my brother’s 3 kids scarfed them down. Even though there were like 10 other desserts. He's an ass.
