A married Irishman went into the confessional and said to his priest, 'I almost had an affair with another woman.' The priest said, 'What do you mean, almost?' The Irishman said, 'Well, we got undressed and rubbed together, but then I stopped.' The priest said, 'Rubbing together is the same as putting it in. You're not to see that woman again. For your penance, say five Hail Mary's and put $50 in the poor box.' The Irishman left the confessional, said his prayers, and then walked over to the poor box. He paused for a moment and then started to leave. The priest, who was watching, quickly ran over to him saying, 'I saw that. You didn't put any money in the poor box!' The Irishman replied, 'Yeah, but I rubbed the $50 on the box, and according to you, that's the same as putting it in!'
🤣

An overcast day with sprinkles here, starting at 37F.

Wahoo, wahoo! A fan in just sent me a 13.5lb box of 10 mg dose D-9 gummies to try. Certainly tasty and I'm titrating up to find my dosage. I'll have to freeze most of it to keep it viable until I'm able to use it, or start passing it out.

I also got an exciting invite to visit an extraction lab in Eugene to discuss R&D that is compelling, except for the 4 hours drive. I'm hoping to conduct experiments there, now that we no longer have the Skunk Pharm Research lab.

I am no Einstein and more of a Chipola ,but its clear and obvious as my bald head you need a driver as well as security.
I drive real good and I shoot not so bad ,but I aint chasing anybody ,and particular about punctuality concerning lunch ,snacks ect .
With all that I am available..

Mama mia thats a lota gummies!…

.i will wager that your dosage tolerance is stronger than Superman when he gets near kryptonite !….2 gummies for normal people , 13 for Graywolf as he titrates up!
I tried two when they arrived without notable effect, so titrated to four this morning on and empty stomach and noted good effects about two hours later.

These were made with D-9 distillate, so not the same as the mix of cannabinoid gummies that I get locally, which typically produce effect for me at about 100 to 200 mg. I've asked for more information on his process.

I probably won't ever actually retire. Although my House, Avalanche and Wife's Jaguar is paid for,,,I still like being able to afford to buy **** when I want and do stuff without worrying about running out of money. SS only goes so far and now I'm hearing a lot of chatter in the government about fking with our SS.😡

When titrating I often times need a driver and am always of course beating off women trying to pet my sleek fur coat, so security might be a good thing as well.

If you are in the hood, feel free to swing by for samples.

I planned to work to age 70, or until I quit having fun. I quit having as much fun about age 60, so figured out a way to do so by age 62 and have continued to have fun.

I think fun is the key and is different for all of us. Buddha said, "Life was meant to be lived with gusto", and agree, because we only for sure get the one.

was fortunate to be able to retire at age 55. This played out good for me as I was also not “having as much fun”. We don’t have a heavy appetite for spending money and have learned in our older age the more important things in life.

I make decent money for an old fart so it would be hard for me to give it up. Plus I don't have to do any hard labor anymore, I just run ****. I waited to draw SS until I could still work and make money and not be penalized. So now I work and draw SS. My Wife draws more now too because she draws off mine too. Ppl think your Wife or Husband has to die for you to get SS off them but that's not true. You just have to be at retirement age to draw off your spouses SS too. Now if you draw as much as his or hers already you won't get **** from theirs. But let's say you draw 1500 and your Wife only gets 500 on hers then she can draw more money by filing on yours.
I don't draw as much on SS as ppl who worked for a company as an employee for yrs because I owned my own business for so long and my Tax Guy made it to where I didn't pay a lot of money into taxes.

Ain't no fun if your broke or on a fixed income in this fking economy.
True story.

I retired early by giving up some of my more expensive toys, and changing my focus. The first thing I did was invest the money I got from my toys in upgrades to our rental properties, plus some sweat labor, so that we were able to double the rents. I also took full advantage of my 401K, stock options, profit sharing, and bonuses to build a nest egg for cash reserves.

I got a raise every year but didn't increase my take home, because I instead had all increases but one deducted from my check before I got it and put into savings. One year I took the raise because ongoing inflation was crimping my have fun budget.

We are perfectly happy without a sailboat, plane, or RV and don't miss the moorage, hanger fees, insurance, and maintenance drain. There is nothing that we covet, and both live comfortably and save money with our two SS checks and my one retirement check, plus rental income.

That is actually why I was able to donate much of my post-retirement development work to public domain pro bono. There was no wolf at the door, and we are having about as much fun as we can stand at our ages, so didn't need more income.

I was going to take a college course on reincarnation. It was pretty expensive but I figured, what the hell, ya only live once.

I was lucky enough to get into a trade at a young age and retired at the ripe old age of 50. Between the wife's and my income from our SS and pensions, we aren't rich by any means, but we're comfortable. We want for nothing but world peace. We sleep warm in the winter and cool in the summer, eat what and when we want, and can afford some frivolous spending now and then. Who could ask for more?
