That's really interesting stuff, I never even thought of the idea of taking a clipping and flipping them to tell ***. Makes sense though, I'm sure you will still end up with some nice plants
Yeah, I'm kicking myself in the *** for not doing cuttings like I've done before. I'll not make this mistake again.

Regenerating a clone taken in flower is pretty straight forward. Dropping a plant into flower and then removing her after *** is identified could end up a mess once she converts back to veg.

Add the ongoing problems I'm having with some of these and I think this is going to be a challenging grow. 3 of the 8 are still giving me fits..oh well that's growing..lol

Couldn't this stress also cause hermie plants?

Not super worried about it flipping out on me and throwing balls. I'm worried about the growth. Once it re vegges those small bud sites will kick out a lot of growth. Not a horrible thing but can be a pain in the *** down the road.

I'm not real heavy on the defoliation gig. I remove a lot during a grow but ya mostly can't tell. If these girls explode I'll prob end up removing a lot. Huge difference between a 3" flowering clone and a entire plant revegging..lol

Trying out some 12"x12" floater screens in veg stage. Took just a few minutes per plant.

Cap Junky....a few before pics.

After the floater is placed...

And all of them after the small floater. These should help spread them outwards and prepare them for a larger 18x20 floater just before flower.

Got them all about the same height now. I had to secure the screens down for now. Before long the plant will push upwards and the wire holding the screen can be removed.

Use the leaf stem.......

If your working some branches around under the screen and find that one branch that just doesn't want to stay where ya put it.

Sometimes if it's not to much pressure you can wrap the leaf stem and tuck it. This will often hold it in place until the new growth comes.

Right there ^^^^^^ Great example.

@Flower thanks for posting this.

No problem, I would like to add, when doing this, I pour a little Jacks 20-20-20 in the bottom of the cup.
If I use straight water, the cuttings often turn so yellow before they show ***, that I have to start over.

Finally got this little tent setup. It's supposed to be a two chamber tent but I'll be using the whole thing as one.

2x3 tent
300w Addiding lamp
6" inline booster fan
All makes for a nice small package. For now this is going to grow some autos. After that I'll use it to feed the two larger tents. Probably only going to put two autos in there for this grow off.

My small veg tent is a 2 x 2 Cool Grow.... nice cheap little tent but careful on zipper light leaks ok.

But most do eventually.. my other tent is a Gorilla Lite and has the flaps that cover the zippers... but I
do like that tent man.. look at the access it offers ya. and I need to disassemble mine so I can life my light all the way up to the frame like you did....

Now to go rock it huh? and you will...

Well, things don't always go as planned but ya just keep making decisions and move on.

I had a pretty bad fall last week and things instantly slowed down. Amazing how that happens but anyways, when stuff like that happens the garden suffers in one way or another..lol

I finally got in there and up potted these 3 Cap Junky plants along the wall. Ive been looking at this posture for days now and I know what it is.....

They've been in them 1.5gal garbage cans for a long while now. They are angry at me but I finally got them a new apt for a little while.

The GreenCrack MangoHp is a struggle. I do believe I liked this girl out when I overdid the N. She's not recovering like the others. I did flush this plant but not convinced it's doing any good yet. I'll give it a little more time and see. I may just take clones and kill it.

The SFV OG is doing better. I'm getting more green from here new growth but I'm still not impressed with her posture. Her rebound from N toxicity has been slow but getting there. It's also starting to reveg.

The Blue Moon Rocks has been left alone and not trained. I know it's uncommon of me but that fall messed me up..lol I got these two up potted as well. Soon I'll throw a screen on top of just waiting till they flower to do it

For what they've all been through it's not so bad. They should be ready to go in October. Can't wait to get all this in the flower tent. I may start a few autos once they are gone.

Dang man, sorry to hear you took a tumble. Just bruised up a little, I hope, and nothing broken.
I have been neglecting my plants the last week or two, myself.
Been spending a bunch of time in the woods scouting, getting all my gear together, and of course, shooting my bow.
Got my tree stand out this evening, and made sure it was ready to go.

Just a little update for the vegging plants getting ready for flower.

GreenCrack MangoHp...I dunno guys. I think I locked this girl out. I see calcium and magnesium issues coming out along with other undesirable things.
1000001125.jpg

I've flushed her twice and it's been getting a full plate of nutrients for a few weeks now but doesn't seem to wanna play nice. New growth is not impressive or encouraging.

Soooo, what to do with the lady? Option one...kill her. Option two...take some clones and see if I can get a healthy one. Option three...start a new seed....yeah, not happening..lol

The SFV OG is coming around slowly but getting there.

I'm seeing color start to come back into the plants and their posture has improved the past few days.

The Cap Junkys on the side are looking much better since the upcoming potting. They indeed took a little damage in the smaller pots but I'm pretty confident they will repair just fine. Still close to 4 weeks before these flower.
