This has been happening too often. Then again I'm using bag seedand I'm not sure how old some of this stuff is...Anyway, I'm continuously having trouble germinated the seeds. I've tried the cup of water method and that doesn't seem to work well for me at all. The seeds would sometimes spit out a tiny root, but nothing more.

The paper towel method so far has gotten me 3 seeds that grew out 1/4-1/2" tap roots. The other 4 are just...not taking. Two of them have cracked a tiny bit and spit out this white foam along the crack, but nothing more. Another one cracked and had the root almost coming out, but it went back in? And the 4th one simply just won't crack.

I have my seeds between two pieces of paper towel in a tuperwear container that I place ontop of my heater. I run it at 75 degrees and it gets pretty warm in there. But I'm still not getting seeds to germinate well. Could it just be the bagseeds are that bad? Or am I doing something wrong here?

edit: Alright well I took them away from the heater and I just put them on a shelf in m room that doesn't get much light and is usually in shadow...I came back the next day and had tons of taproots...I don't even think I have room for all of them now. I wasn't expecting all of them to germinate, but now I think I'll have around 13-15 plants. crap...
