The Ocean is awesome, we swam in it almost everyday during the summer
My Dad worked part time at Jones Beach and got free tickets to the shows
We saw a load of musicals

you lucky dawg….the ocean is so spectacular

we moved from utah to so.california when i was a kid and it didnt take us long to find the beach

we hitchhiked over Topanga canyon , about 20 miles and spend the whole day body surfing

seeing the ocean for the first time as a kid was just magical and left an everlasting impression on my pea brain

One thing I never did was learn to surf, my Sis did and use to be very good , almost Pro.
She had a lot of trophies and we would watch her on surf comp day.

no surfing here either , we just could not afford a board

but yeah , body surfing 5-10 foot waves was so much fun as a kid!

malibu was totally different in the 60’s than today…omg , what a difference

Morning everybody big rain last night and cooler temps this morn. I didn't even have to look outside to know. Hurting like hell this morn. If I change meds then it will mess with my immune system and I don't want to do that. The meds for rheumatoid and psoriasis arthritis is bad stuff.

My daughter takes shots for that. Seems to do a good job too with no side effects so far. She’s been taking them a couple years now.

they do have some pretty serious side effects listed tho…

i love jones beach ,saw a lot of music there

Bruno sent me to the ER for some antibiotics after a nasty attack

spurred me right below my ankle , it was summer , no boots on , just flip flops

big mistake , i cannot blame nor be angry with Bruno , he was doing his job

I over look a lot and have high tolerances when the gain outweighs the pain.....

Bad part is I also have osteoarthritis too, have had it for years the other two were found in the last couple years. It's fun and games I guess. The osteoarthritis has eat up my knees, they both need to be replaced. I just can't bring myself to have it done.

I’m babying my knees everyday. I know that replacement is in my future but trying to keep these for as long as I can I guess. I don’t trust them anymore tho

Good morning big. A hot bowl of oatmeal should stick to your ribs and warm you up for another cold day. It’s very pleasent unusually warm this morning 70ish. We do have rain in our forecast but I’m thankful for the warm breaks we are getting this winter so far

Yep, you and I should have about the same weather. It was 70ish here the last few days. High of 38 today, then warming right back up.
