Morning gang. Got the mustang ready for the maiden flight. I leave the cowling off until I have all the kinks worked out. She’s got some things left to do, but it’s flight worthy. Weather looks good.

I have a friend named chenz (vinny) known him over 50 years .
His Mom got into a car accident and was a quad for 40 years ina wheelchair.
His dad a retired NYC school teacher loved model airplanes ,was a pres at a local flying club . Because his wife was in a wheel chair She never saw her basement .HE HAD AIRPLANES . He had that basement big and full with planes woodworking stuff to make said planes ,8 cyl rotary engines ,mill machine and a lathe all small .He had a plane worth 18k plus a 4k trailer to hold it in .Went to Fla and it won awards .He didnt even fly it . There is over 50 planes from trainers to fast mofos.I used to go where he flew and he would attach a buddy wire between my controller and his and take over when i started to screw up. I have a DJI air drone ,much easier !

Kool! What size engine? How fast will it ostensibly be?
It’s a 17cc gas two stroke. The kit calls for a 10cc but these warbirds always need lead added to the nose to balance. So I stuffed a bigger engine in it🤘 Actually had to add some lead to the tail. Not sure how fast it will be. I’ll have to play with propeller sizes to find the best combo. I’d guess around 80-100 mph though. Todays flights will be slower, making adjustments, and working out any issues that may arise. Engine tuning….

I want one of those drones to be able to see a round my property. But the price tag has kept me from buying one just to use for that purpose.
I’d love to build a plane one day for a radial engine. They sound so good.
A friend in our flying club is building a 16 foot wingspan B-17. I can’t wait to see it.

Good morning

we got back from the big city after a visit with a new group of dentists

we went from $46,000.00 down to $20k with this new group…extraction , posts , and new snap in teeth , lifetime warranty , if i get them , i hope i live to be 119
I loved my $22K implant plate until the screws started coming loose. After all the effort and trauma, I'm more OK with my $1600 regular upper plate.

I was thinking about how much reaction time you might have from the time you see it coming and until it is gone.

yeah , this is not the screw on type but a complete set of uppers and lowers that snap on to titanium posts that have been implanted into the jawbone

just snap them in and snap them out

oh snap!

Exactly what I had. The posts screw into your jawbone and the snaps screw into the posts. The titanium jaw screw/posts are what became loose.
