cutlets come into mind thank you ! we gots tender seagulls
By cedar beach we have " A Flock Of Seagulls" :)
I don't know about eatin' 'em, but one of them bastids stole a piece of hamburger off my grill as it was cooking on the hot grill one time at the beach. I grew up on the Gulf Coast. People feed the danged things and then they get aggressive. Just like all wildlife.

Not sure about eatin'...but I wouldn't mind blasting a couple out the sky for someone TO eat it. 😠
They'll steal the potato chips out of the bag, and crap on the picnic table as they do it.

If not for ignorant people...they'd be afraid and stay away from us. I'm cool with that.

'bout like eating buzzard or crow I imagine

.
Better than a spotted owl but not as good as a bald eagle.

We lived on some acres out in the boonies. I used to put a pile of horse sweet feed out at night, then get up at daybreak to shoot the rats that gathered there with my Marlin .22. You'd hit one, and the one right next to it would just keep on eating...

I use to feed them outside the shop area where I sat sometimes and ate my lunch. Don’t know why I threw that chicken leg bone out there but I did and the seagull deep throated the whole thing and flew off. I thought about it the rest of the day 🙁
I used to fish a lot (almost daily) where I grew up in Florida. I caught a foot long salt water catfish once, unhooked it and turned around to set my pole down. They're generally considered inedible and I was gonna toss it back, but a Great Egret popped over and grabbed it. That pencil necked bird flew 25 feet away and swallowed that catfish whole in one gulp...spines extended and locked and all. I couldn't believe it.
