Dammit killing it they look like trees I have one just starting to flower outside doesn't get too much light only girl I ended up with my fault this coming year I'm shooting for some big girls have made two plots this year slowly chopping trees ect . I looked for these spots all year after realizing we're mine was at the sun didn't hit them till the afternoon cause the direction it comes up .. also I am getting them large atleast a month veg at least and using some organic compost and some other organic goodies iv been experimenting with .

These OG's are the fattest buds, though indoors they were extremely dense and not much thinner than the other strains. This girl is at least a week ahead of my others, leaves have almost all yellowed away. Not too much longer til I start looking at trichs.

Getting near that time. Pulled out the scope for a trich check. I remember a discussion here or another site about purple trichome heads. This bud has purple trich stalks and a lot of them. I found a few purple heads, but more stalks. This is from the OG Kush that is showing a distinct purple tone to the buds. Just thought it interesting.

Nice

I noticed pre flower and stretch during the last week of July, which means I'm about 50-55 days post the natural "flip." My OG is ready to be pulled. This is a good 10 days earlier than I've ever chopped an outdoor plant. I was so surprised I had my buddy over to confirm and he did. The buds are dense and sticky. Leaves falling fast. No clear trichs, plenty of purple ones and some amber. The indoor sister to this plant may have had slightly bigger colas, but this one's got a lot more of them. I got just under 4 zips indoors. The two sisters germinated March 20. In mid-may I moved her outside while flipping the girls in the tent. The buds are purpling big time.

I also examined the clones I tried to knock up and found a couple seeds in the making, so I may have had success there. One of the seeded plants is a clone of the OG that's ready for harvest. It also looks ripe but I'll leave it a couple more weeks to give the seeds time to fully develop.

Your head is blue. Cut back on the blueberries.😁

I took down the OG Kush over the last two days. I'm learning how to use the bowl trimmer most efficiently. Hand trimmed a few colas. I'm interested how it will compare with its indoor grown sister. It was a nice sized plant, no idea of the weight yet, but it filled up 10 tiers of 24" drying rack and finished with ten days less flowering time than the indoor version. The Watermelon OG will be next, in a week or so, maybe.

I know that guy.... hahaha.... bro what's up.. talk about some nice tree's. Looks like you'll get at least 2 ounces off of her. HA.
Seriously, all of your plants look amazing and all your hard work is paying off.... Let me know if you need anything for next run or just want to toss some Autos out for now ok....

enjoy your harvest

Thanks, Carty. I'm already set up pretty good for next season with Celtic Stone, Gabagoo, and purple beast mode. Hopefully, I'll have some seeds made from this year's crop. I crossed 9 lb Hammer with Runtz and this OG Kush and see some seed development for my first intentional breeding effort. I also have some Afghan (grows well In my climate) and monster cookies I want to look at.
It's been a lot of work tending these big plants. The missus is looking forward to some travel, so I won't get anything in dirt until March. Plan right now is a normal indoor run, some autos (first for me), and hopefully one giant Celtic Stone outside.

1st big plant is off the rack and into paper bags for final drying. Basement runs 53% rh, while it's been muggy outside and the house and outbuildings are all upper 60s. It's not hot enough for air conditioning. I'll move the shopping bags to whichever area is most suitable at the time for equalizing the humidity.
The weed is smoke able now, but needs the good cure. Weighed it as I bagged it and it is my most productive plant ever, even if I lose some in the final dry/cure stage. A record that I believe I'll break once or twice in the next week or two. Ten tiers of the dry rack were full.
I'm maybe a week from cutting the next biggie, though there are a couple clones that are pretty ripe.
