Nitrogen Toxicity...

So I use Jack's, calnit, and Epsom salts. In veg I use the classic 202020. Occasionally I run into a plant that does not enjoy to much N. So I'm making a few changes in veg stage nutrients. I'm starting to use the Bloom formula in veg to get more control over the Nitrogen.

So 9 days ago this girl was just fine. I changed nothing and it received what all the others received. It was praying and healthy.

Days later....At initial glance ya can see there is something going on here. She green but what catches my eye right away is the paleness of the leaf with dark veins and leaf starting to curl/hook under. The growth rate has slowed as well and all has stalled. The posture of the plant is weak and droopy. If I do nothing I risk a lockout.

No signs of a calcium or magnesium deficiency soooo it's off to the bath tub with this girl. I ran about 5gal through the 3gal bag and let her drain a few hours. Then gave her a half dose of Jack's Bloom 103020 w/ calnit and Epsom.

So here she sits in all her pale glory. I'm thinking I'll see some improvement in a week or so. I may loose a few leaves but that's okay. I'm hoping to get this in flower later next month.

I'll update what I come up with...win or fail. I think she'll be just fine.

I see 0 signs of N toxicity.

Well, I had a plant do this before. That pics is kinda light in color. The plant is a much darker green. Hooking leaf starting. Stalled growth.

It's been flushed so maybe it is kinda over watered for now.

Time will tell. I think it'll bounce back.

I've never ever ph'd promix.
Im still betting overwatered. Just let it be til the pot is light in weight
Swollen droopy leaves, and you just flushed.

my guess, it's Mg overdose bs it's similar to overwhatering. don't give it more then 60mg at the plant on veg

Things are kinda hooking under with them big bowed under leaves. Over watering does this to an extent but also puts ripples in the leaf and would probably look a lot worse..lol.

@WonkasTHC thanks for saying the over water thing. After I thought about it I don't have this plant lifted off the bottom. I prob forgot to drain it and it sat in runoff. Just a a thought since ya brought it up. I got her boosted up and a fan on the medium. See what happens.

@RosterMan @Hippie420 It could very well be ph. But wouldn't ya think other plants would be showing signs? This lil one just flipped out..lol. I'm hoping it'll bounce back soon.

N toxicity would be a real glossy dark green, so dark it looks almost blueish black and have the clawing.

Over watering isn't giving to much at 1 time, it's giving them to much water over a period of time and not allowing enough o2 to the roots.
Make sure you let your plants really dry out before watering again.
A little drought stress ain't gonna kill em either, I find it actually helps!
