Nice dirt should be full of nutes
It looks great. But it's taken me a while to figure out. I'm having to feed them pretty good. I had places in Mississippi all I had to do was plant and there was plenty nutrients in the soil. I just got two bottles of fox farm. Should do me the year.

They are growing.

Great garden ya got going. Not sure how I missed this thread but following now. I love a good outdoor grow.

Hey everyone. I haven't posted in just over a month. Plants are doing good for the most part. Stretch to start soon. We had a lot of rain. I was just feeding yesterday. Im trying to get a healthy dose of potash and everything else. I can tell when the buds dry they arent getting what the need. I was use to the south with soil that had plenty Nutrients even without doing anything. I fed liquid fox farm yesterday along with some dry fox farm I buried close to the plant . Ground is wet. I got in another package of organic high in p and k . we've got a few days before rain starts again. ID like to put some out in a few days. And a couple more times after that.

I had a little trying to flower but they came out of it pretty good. It made the plant bush out more though. I had one with a rotten stalk that broke. It may survive ill see. And a couple that just didn't do much. But for the most part they look fine. Ill post a few more at a different spots.

Lovely place to grow, plenty off greenery 🤪.
For sure. Woods are really thick and anywhere you walk you just follow a deer trail. You don't have to worry about leaving a trail because there's deer trails everywhere. The ground is always firm so no tracts and by the next day any trace you left is covered in hundreds of deer trails. Here's a woods picture.

Any problem with bugs.
A little bit of bug problems. Its typical of almost any year. It seems to be more certain strains that have damage for one thing. I have planted hash berry and bugs have hit them hard. Still making but only the end buds will make. Once they start budding the bug problem is over. I only have may be 3 that are the worst. Most theirs not any signs of leaf holes. Instead of worry about spraying I just plant a few extra. As long as they don't kill the top they will be ok.

Yea its taken me a while to find the beat places. And figure out the soil how much to feed.

Yea theres some really think stuff. Like those pear bushes with thorns. theres several small open areas. Just big enough for 6 of 8 plants. You could get more but I test the ground and if its hard clay like i move over a few feet and I can always find a few spots that are easier to dig holes. The trees around it are mostly box woods and those bushes that look like old ornamental pear bushes with the stickers all over them. I always come out scratched up with a couple thorns that fester a couple days. Im finally getting the nutrients dialed in. The plants will get nice size but there's not enough of anything left in the ground for bud formation. IV e already put out a bag of dry fox farm two bottles of liquid fox farm and im working with two Moore bottles and another bag of dry. Got some rain over night and it was still not bad dry. More rain coming this weekend.

Hey everybody im on the way. Its been 12 days. Im feeding again. We have had rain and humid. More rain days and night ahead. Hopefully dry weather around mid September. Stretch should be happening. . Ill post later some pictures Check out bud of the month thread. Later

It was hot and sticky today. After a while ID get jelly legs after sweating so much. I could drink 1/3'of a water and ID get better. I worked honey bees fot 20 years. Its that hot pulling honey. You get use it the heat somewhat. Stretch is on and the heat and humidity I think will mean great growth over the next few days.
