My other two autos have been shoved back into the corner. They're doing okay. 80 days old today and still chugging along. They're getting there.

It's been a whole year now I've been here on MP. I found you guys on a forum search. Got a friendly welcome so I hung my hat for a while.

Gotta say this is my favorite place to hang out. Yeah, I'm on a few other sites too but this is where I post the most.

Thank you to all who participate here on MP. You ladies n gents make this place what it is...Great!

So far my grand total for the year is 150.6ozs and I still have more drying. Sadly this tells me I smoke way to much weed..lol. If that's even possible.

A whole year guys. Thanks for letting me in the door.
We are glad to have you here hanging out with us my friend.👍

More from the veg tent....

Two SFV OGbx3 flowering clones in medium. These have had roots for a while but I'm just now getting around to them.
IMG_20241220_113423931.jpg

They are the perfect size and type of flowering clone I like. 3 small bud clusters and a small stem that can be easily bent over. I don't think it'll take these long to ounce into veg.

Blue Moon Rocks...I guess it is a flowering clone. I prob broke it off training. I see some hairs in there so it was in flower. It should pop up soon.

Bag of Oranges....seem to be loving their new medium and small training floater. These flower when the autos in here get gone. So prob another 2 weeks.

Cap Junky Chem91...25d 12/12

Slowing down an already slow stretch. I'm running low on this stuff. I need more. All goes well it should kick over 7.5oz easy.

Last grow this plant was thrown into flower at day 32 from seed. It did well. This is a monster clone of her so I'm expecting a better plant from a fully mature clone. Potency n flavor is wild n spicy with this girl.

I've got a lot stuffed under that 600w right now in the flower tent. Once I start adding floaters as they hit ten days flower I'll move them and crank up the other lamp. 8 total plants in the 4x8.

I put a big floater on the Strawberry Banana a few days early. I want this leafy girl as spread out as possible so I mess with her daily. It seems to be doing better this round. This monster clone is really blowing up. I could care less if it fills the screen. I just want it able to get better light this time.

Playing around with some wire. Curious to see what happens here.
It's not going to stay there. I'm just throwing a lil more stress at the plant and getting all that lower growth as involved as possible. What doesn't contribute to the screen will prob be culled for clones and and cleaned out later.

Look kinda crazy weird but it's fun to just play around.

Bag of Oranges...1st day tomorrow. I'll pull these training floaters off tomorrow. These are small and compact plants. I expect more of that from this mostly indica strain. They are 6 weeks old and ready to go.

GreenCrack MangoHp...1wk today. They got three more days till I leave them alone. I think they'll fill the screen..lol

IMG_20241224_185648713.jpg

The beauty of a monster clone. No shortage of bud sites. No topping on these ladies. As if I ever do on any plant..lol.
IMG_20241224_180302768.jpg

I have the floater screens secured down with a spike. It's there just to level the screen and hold it in place until the plant takes over in about a week. I'll remove them about that time.

Going to be flowering in my 4x4 soon. I may not have enough room for large floaters so maybe I'll just use the smaller ones and see how that goes. Should spread them out fairly well and run maybe up to six.

Depends on what the Trainwreck and ForgetMeNots kick out in females. I need two. Would be awesome to get one of each.

Little change of plans....

Flipping stuff around in here a little. Should look pretty full in about 3 weeks.
IMG_20241226_173624647.jpg

Not so sure how many females I'll get from the reg seed. So I'll run these Bag of Oranges with small floater screens and see what happens. Doing this I can easily fit 3. I've got a hunch they will fill that whole space. They should be some solid lower growing indicas anyways so this may just do the trick.

This GreenCrack MangoHp is taking up a lot of real estate in here. I waited to long to flip this but it'll kick out a ton of bud sites for sure. Definitely fills up 1/4 of the tent. It's still has a few weeks of stretch coming. Damn there gonna get big.

@Thomas81 thanks mate

@Flower in veg that floater is just a tool. Ya don't really have to use it in veg stage.

Seed grows I train early
Normal clones I train when rooted
Flowering clones need no training.

With seed n normal clone grows it's the early training that shapes them. I've been throwing on a small floater in veg just to help things grow outward but it's not really needed.

Ya can wait till your into flower or throw it on at the beginning of flower. It's the growers call.

Those GreenCrack MangoHp girls above are flowering clones. I did nothing to them in veg except maybe bend over the clone. Never used a floater until a week into flower.

Then notice the boo plants. Seed grow. Not as dense but trained down well. Those plants are almost 7 wks vegged and not a one is taller than 8-10" but spread out wide. For these I sometimes use training floaters in veg. In this case I'm going to flower them in the small floaters. Let's see how they do.

Early training is more important than a training floater. It makes the base for the whole show. My ultimate goal in veg is keeping what I have growing LOW n WIDE. I want no more than 10-12" between the medium and my floater when I place it for flower.
