I dunno the optimum time to take clones. I guess whenever ya feel like it. Have ya read anything on the subject?
Nope. I have been reading on cloning but no one says anything about tine of day. Fir mist thing gardening related I would guess the coolest tone of day early morning or late evening.
I was just wondering if anyone had it figured out. My first clone is off to the races.she is in front row on the end if you make the pic bigger you can see her tag Pink Mango X GDP. I am glad I was able to clone her she is a beauty.

I have several more trying to clone now there are Maui Waui, Panama Red, Black Alaska Purple and NL from the monster I have growing now. We will see what happens. I am probably bitting off more than I can chew I am going to need to start chopping soon I have the GDPx WW that were done yesterday I didn't have time to cut, so I just put them to the dark side of the closet. A lot of people put their crops in darkness before chopping. I am still not getting the fade I should. I let the last 2 weeks go with only water. I guess I don't flush enough.

That Jack's keeps them riding the edge of N tox. I run 1/4tsp gal and always have burn tips. Even without adding the calcium nitrate. I usually start them on just Jack's and add calcium nitrate when they enter veg through to harvest.

Me to pomegranates is the easiest to clone i think
I have some of those balls for cloning trees. I may try it. My clones all died. The ones with domes molded. The ones without a dome dried up and withered up. I guess I need a few more research videos to try again. My maui waui look to be all females so if I want seeds. It will have to be fems.

I gave a tutorial in this thread earlier I have high success rates I bet it’s the dome part that might be confusing to you

Not a dome a rooting ball. You strip the bark from a one inch section on a branch then add dirt and close the ball. Keep the soil moist. It is supposed to root. Then snip and plant
