I don't get big plants with autos so I'd not hesitate to run 6 autos in a 4x4.

I'm a huge believer in giving a plant a 2x2 space of its own with photos but autos sar a bit smaller.
I ran 6 autos in a 4x4 a few years ago. It was my last grow. I went through a divorce and couldn't grow for a couple of years. This was my last grow.

Holy crap that's a nice grow. You are one of those big auto growers obviously.
🤣 I wouldn't exactly say that. You should have seen the grow before that! Those earthboxes made a huge difference. I have a hard time deciding when to water and tend to severely under water. My grow before this while admittedly was all of mephistos smallest strains, finished with tiny plants! I'll see if I can find any pics. It's hard because I ran grow journals on rollitup and they banned me.

Banned.. 😂 No judgement here. I go over there but lately the site has been down for days.
I screwed up. I had been a member there for probably 15 years and decided to participate in a political thread. No warnings, no forgiveness, just banned for life with no reason or explanation. Just banned... I had a few friends on there that I haven't talked to for a few years now because it was my only way of contacting them.

Ok so if I want to use the ac infinity self watering bases (which I do), I can only run 3 plants in the 2x4. So I am going to be thinking hard what plants to run. In these tents... and if I can get a 5th base in the bigger tent, I need to decide if it want to try to squeeze a 5th plant in that tent... or if 7 total plants is enough.

I'd have to agree. I don't like my 300w in my 2x3. It's just to much. Can only run it 50% most of the time. It's just to much.

Smaller lamps would be much better. I'll go that route someday soon. I'm already looking for space to add a 2x4.

Ok so here is the new plan. When I get my new seeds, I will grow the following. I want to try new grow methods occasionally. I am used to organic in potting soil. So I ordered some coco loco. I am going to mix some rice hulls, perlite, worm castings and compost into the coco. I will try using a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 ratio. Then the only other thing I will add is 2 tablespoons of grow dots per gallon of soil. I will use this in 1 5 gallon pot. And I am going to grow 2 Barney's Farm Cookies Kush Autos 🍪. 1 in normal potting mix with organic nutrients only and 1 in this coco mix. I know they are autos and not clones so this test obviously has its flaws, but it should tell me something. The other 2 plants in the 5 gallon pots will be the Dutch Passion Critical Orange Punch, and the Sweet Seeds Red Gorilla Girl. Then I think I may try using the coco mix in 3 gallon pots for the Purple Punch OG, Blackberry Kush and Strawberries Cheesecake autos.

Sounds like a solid plan.. I gotta look up grow dots. I've read that a half dozen times this week and still dunno what it is..lol

It's a fertilizer from the company that makes recharge. There are 2 grow dots formulas. It is palletized fertilizer. It has Polymer coatings and the outside is a veg fertilizer while the center is more for flower. There are 2 formulas. The original formula has enough "veg fertilizer " for about 20 or 30 days and the other formula has enough "veg fertilizer " for a few more weeks. In my experience, autos start to flower around week 4. So it should be a great fertilizer for autos.

Recharge is good stuff, but I've never used the grow dots. I felt, with a simple formula like Jack's in peat, I'd have more control over excesses or deficiencies than with dots. Recharge works so well, I might rethink my position. I'll be watching to see your results with them.
