Ok so I wanted to start my grow a few weeks ago, but it is what it is. This is a serious work in progress and im going to be winging it a little bit. I was going to grow photoperiod plants but at the last minute changed my mind and decided to grow autos because that is what I'm familiar with. I have a 2.5x5 grow tent and a 2x4 grow tent and i will be using both of them this grow.im going to grow 6 autos in the 2.5x5 and 4 in the 2x4. I will let everyone know what strains I will be growing soon.

For the bigger tent I am planning on growing one of each of the following cultivars: Dutch Passion Banana Blaze auto and Critical Orange Punch auto, Barney's Farm Purple Punch auto & Zkittles OG auto, Humbolt Seed Organization Blue Dream auto & UK Cheese auto.
For the 2x4 tent I am planning to grow 1 of each of the following: Dinafem Blue Cheese auto & Moby Dick XXL auto, Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese auto & Sweet Gelato auto.
If i can't get seeds for any of these to germinate, I may have to substitute other cultivars and will let everyone know what I have subbed in at that time. I'm not planning to pop all these seeds at 1 time. I'm going to try popping the 6 for the bigger tent at 1 time and then wait a couple of weeks to pop seeds for the smaller tent. Possibly breaking that up into 2 and 2 with a week or 2 in between. If this grow goes well I'll be in trim jail for a long time. The goal is to have these all finished soon enough to free up a tent to start my tomato and pepper plants no later than the middle of April.

I currently have some hand mixed soil with various ammendments. I will fill the grassroots grow bags with the soil i already have mixed and the remaining pots will get filled with a soil mixture using down to earth bio live, earthworm castings, and coast of Maine lobster compost. I will be using some recharge as well as Neptune's Harvest liquid fertilizers to finish up the grow as I feel needed.

Here is the 2.5x5 tent. I'll get a pic of the 2x4 tent later.

I actually prefer an array of smaller lights as I will be running in the 2x4. My reasoning for this is if I have taller plants, I can put them on 1 side of the tent and run the light higher. And put the shorter plants on the other side of the tent and run them lower. I feel it is more versatile. If I was running a scrog then 1 large light would work just as well.

Im in....ya got some nice genetics to crack. I follow these auto grows to learn. If your familiar moreso with autos then maybe I'll pick up some tips...my auto skills are sub par.

Well I do a lot better when growing in earthboxes, but I'm going to give the grow bags another shot. I'm going to use the AC Infinity self watering bases to help with even watering and I plan on PHing my water this time also. The last time I used grow bags I believe I was under watering as well as not PHing the water and I believe this caused problems.

Probably going to start popping seeds tomorrow. I work night shift tonight and then I'm off tomorrow night and go back to work Monday morning. I have a process for popping seeds that works for me. I usually soak my seeds overnight or for about 12 hours. After that they go into a propagation tray with a humidity dome and a heating pad. I place my seed into expanded jiffy peat pellets, the larger ones meant for tomatoes.
