Has anyone else try the Ubie vaporizers?

I bought 2 of these a couple of years ago and found them great..only problem was that the little ubie would break with little or no effert what so ever...has anyone built a homemade version of this convection vaporizer?....I did make a bigger version using a beaker ,black rubber stop and a little glass tube but not really what you'd call portable..
you could put in a 0.6g at a time, so it did have its good points..
