A crumb for us old timers...
What are some of the old tv jingles you remember as a young'n?
I am thinking commercials or even shows.
(Here's a story of a lovely lady, who had three very lovely girls. They all had hair of gold like their mother, the youngest liked girls...:hubba: )
Ok, just kidding.
How about "my bologna has a first name" or "ask any tuna you happen to see"
C'mon, lets see what you can remember through the haze of smoking all that haze!:)
"Space The final frontier"... "Hey, hey we're the Monkeys"
Anyone remember jello brand??

if your threatened by a stranger when it looks like your in danger call on Super Chicken..

Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

Fish don't fry in the kitchen;
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin',
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby,
There ain't nothin wrong with that.

Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

The Jeffersons- I love the song, hate the show.

The limon lemon taste of Sprite joins our celebration.
The taste of limon mixes right for holiday occassions.
Sprite makes brighter holidays, limon is the reason.
Sprite goes well so many ways, to bring you cheer this seasonnnn.

Remember the old indian on horseback that crys when he sees people pollute?

Here comes the king, here comes the king, here comes the big #1.
Budweiser beer something something or other.....the horses..in the 1970s. :p

DR Pepper jingle

I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke and keep it company...

Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun!

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on Gilligans Isle.

So this is the talel of the castways,
They're here for a long, long time,
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
Will do their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In the tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primative as can be.

So join us here each week my freinds,
You're sure to get a smile,
From seven stranded castways,
Here on "Gilligan's Isle."

love whistlin the andy griffith show.

and lets see how many words in before you recognize this intro:
"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security starcade to the Los Angeles underground.

Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.

If you have a problem, if noone else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... THE A TEAM!
[gun fires]
dun dun dun daa, dun na na

and who could forget " just some good ole boys" :)
