I am tryin to grow for my first time, I am going to start with one plant a week (Until I get 2 confirmed females) for now I am working with 2 18" florescents at 15 Watts a piece. (I'm on a tight budget.) However, I am getting a bigger light in the next day or two. It just broke ground today. I have it on 24/7 lights.

As of now, the plant seems pretty healthy, except for the plants curling up along the middle.

How often are you watering it?

Good luck with your grow and heres hoping for a beautiful female.

I wouldn't put the fan directly on it, especially a box fan. but keep the fan on for circulation.

It just broke ground today.

Man, that's the fastest growing plant I've ever seen. Just broke ground today and got a few sets of leaves. Should be ready to harvest in about 2 weeks I'd say

At first, not very often, but lately it's been getting dry in about three days, I water it whenever the dirt gets dry. I know the fan shouldn't be on it like that, but until I get paid again, I'm pretty broke, and that's the only way the fan will fit in there. :S

Hey runby, I started this thread about 15 days ago. :p

So you did louis, my mistake. looks a bit yellow, leaves are curling too. What kind of soil do you have it in ? Are you feeding it any nutes ? Any idea of ph

The soil is generic, with Perlite mixed in. No nutes yet, I figured it was too young. Not sure about the ph either. This is my first grow, pretty much experimental. :(

Hey Louis, it would be a good idea to get a ph meter. You will find it invaluable. In the meantime it may be an idea to sprinkle some ground up lime on the surface. This will act as a ph buffer.

You should also leave your water sit for 24 hours first This ensures that all the chlorine evaporates from it before you use it.

You have a fan going in there but is there enough "fresh" air getting in. Essential for MJ.

Maybe your generic soil has slow release nutes that could be burning the plants. Any idea of the brand ?

Just a couple of things that may help. Peace RBH

I just remembered, that soil was the soil that came with the chrysanthymums I bought my GF before they died. :( I have no idea what kind of soil it is. (I'm sure that it's better then the stuff I used for the other plants I have going.)

I think the problem was in lighting. I had it under two 26 watt CFLs. I tried to put a couple of flourecents in there with it, but I didn't have the tools. So as of now it's an outdoor plant. Hope this works out. :)

I wouldn't put that baby outside right now you would be putting it into shock. You had it on a 24/7 light schedule and now you've got it out side. I think you should just keep on doing the same thing you were doing. Make sure it's getting enough water and then turn a fan on. They need that air blowin so they grow up big and strong. With no air the will get real spindly. It looks like a strong plant right now just needs some TLC. Peace.

Can't wait :hairpull: ... have my seeds pre soaking right now. I'm going to plant them soon!

Thanks, I agree, it's gonna go through shock, however, I don't think the lighting in my box is adequate. The leaves just keep dieing, so I put worms in the soil to try and help it, not sure how that's gonna effect the plant, I now realize maybe it wasn't the best idea to put it outside in the sun for the worms to cook.

Well, my plant has been converted to an outdoor girl, she's now starting to flower, and it appears that she is just as I suspected an outdoor GIRL. :D I was scared this was gonna be a big waste of time. :p

I would go out and snap one now, but it's dark out, and you can see above that my camera blows donkey n-ts.
