As promised, here are some random, cluttered pics.
There are about 26 plastic models I’ve built over the years hanging from the ceiling. With all the sanding I do on the balsa models there is a layer of dust on all of them. As seen, I am a hoarder of plastic models lol. And that’s not all of them. Some of the model cars date back to the early 90’s when I would help my dad build them. And I have a handful of models he built back in the late 60’s to early 70’s. They are worth more than gold to me.
The orange plane is an old racing design, it’s fasssst. Runs about 90-120 mph. Liked it so much I am building another for myself and one for a friend.
We have two Spitfires and a Zero hanging on the walls. A trainer from 1998. That was my first rc plane. Still fly it occasionally but I am afraid it will get crashed so it stays in the hanger most of the time. The rails mounted on the wall are from a few of my favorites that had an untimely meeting with Mother Earth.
The one that’s still showing wood is an old Piper Cub kit. Was started in the early 90’s and passed around and never finished. I keep saying I’ll finish it, the wing is ready but the fuselage still needs a little work. It’s close though.
If I retired I could get more building done lol.
