I watched a youtube Gun rights show and Suffolk County Pistol Lic Bureau is now saying a 2-3 yr processing time period will be needed, along with that course and internet history.

My nephew lives in Nassau co and had no problem. gettin his permit.
He was a Nassau co ast DA so that may helped.
He was offered a job with the secret service but didnt
accept it because he didnt want to be away from his young kids

Yes both Suffolk and Nassau use to be that way with most involved in Law Enforcement. Quick and easy investigations.
But since That new Gov/Hoken choiken made the new gun laws it is very hard to get.
Most Cops at Pistols App are way overbooked and they are doing the long 2-3 yr investigation on purpose until Gun are outlawed everywhere in the Country,
$1000 dollars , is that the 16hrs safety course firearms safety training class costs now?
