I am a half mile from Ethiopia about a mile down the railroad tracks
eastern high plains of Colorado , about 45 miles from the Kansas border , you can almost see Kansas from those tracks

I'd be building one of those motorized rail carts and seeing just where those tracks took me.
Good luck brother!Interview done. I have to wait for one more guys blessing but they said that shouldn't be a problem. Actually went better than expected.
They offered me $80.000 a yr and 2weeks paid vacation. I will know for sure by Monday.
We have had wild European Honey Bees for more than a decade. First in a tree out front and now in our back yard. I've had them crawling all over me, but I've yet to get stung. If it was a honey bee, you had to have mashed him, or brushed against him...They won't sting unless directly hit, mashed, etc...or if you are too close to the hive. If stinger was suck in you, was a honey bee. They die after they sting, that's why they don't until it's something dire. I had honey bee hives for 9 years, had to let them go in 2020...I sure miss them.
Oh no not Biggie
My first two hives, I got from a guy in Illinois, I started seeing hive beetles. I took pics, and showed him, they didn't have them there, because of the cold. He freaked out, and told me, mistakenly to open the hive everyday and kill all that I saw. My bees got so used to me, if I came outside, guaranteed, one or more would light on me. Once my dad came over, and some lit on him too, I'm thinking we smell alike....Good luck brother!

Yeah. Like dangle an 1/8th ounce jig under a bobber when you want to.I don't know about the rest of ya'll....but I think being retired is more work than working! There is something to do constantly it seems.
