Nope. All done with the aid of Blue Cross and Medicaid. No chemo or radiation, either. A scalpel took care of it all. With both surgeries, it was around five hundred bucks. Of course, every office call or test was another twenty bucks. Still cheaper than a cremation.

If the 20K kept her above ground and still happily with you, it was money well spent.

As far as that death tax crap, I'm sure there's ways around it. I've got my home and money in a Lady Bird trust. It all goes to the kid when I tap out. Check it out on google. She technically owns everything, but it only goes into effect after my and her mother's death.
Lady Bird Johnson is the one that came up with it and pushed it through to law. My mother's place was in one. After two years in a wrinkle farm, her house and all of her possessions would have been the states.

Cost is ok but I have to admit hoping to save anything major for a couple more years when Medicare kicks in as mr Subbie never pays anything but they gouge me on out of pocket expense. I don’t like my primary care physician. There was a long waiting list and I only had internet information to read up on when selecting him. He’s an out of touch dork who operates from a list of symptoms and what drugs to use instead of giving a rip of my past or present actual health. I use him as little as possible but still have to face him every year. Care? Well I have found that these days you have to watch your own back as at least I can’t depend on the doc anymore like in the past when my doc knew me my family and all my past health issues when I walked in the door. We have found so many mistakes lately with staff working with our docs too. And our mothers docs. You really have to watch out even when taking new drugs…

total disdain for most docs and definitely insurance companies .. we're both on medicare, so far I rarely use it ..

on another note we have a hero winner .. an orange crush one

My turn next. Physical on the 19th. Like I said earlier got my blood draw early today. At our age i always worry that the doc will find something. Got my eyes checked on Tuesday and I am on the verge of needing cataract.....decided to wait another year.

Should have cut the grass today but I couldn't muster the energy. Fk it think I will get stoned!
Cataract surgery shouldn't even be on the fargin "surgery" list. It is painless, and it improves the heck outa your overall ability to see. BTDT
