hey guys ive still got a problem with mites i sprayed once a week 4 4weeks with pyrethrum that didnt work so tried this apid an mite killer sprayed 2weeks with that an that didnt work so then i tried a mix of the 2 that didnt work so i tried the tabbacco water that didnt work so i went to the grow shop an they gave me this powder stuff you mix n water an that still didnt work.My plants are coming up 2 weeks into flowering an i wana try rid these lil buggers asap.I heard of using asprin mixed in water is this ok to try how much asprin do ya use,if anyone has any other ideas please let us know ill try anything cheers all

never done it heard yo need to dilute 15 or so.


make your own mix of rubbing alcohol, soap, water. and get yourself some ladies asap

yes, about a 1/3 cup alcohol, 1/3 cup soap(i use non toxic), and however much water you want. I use about 1 cup water.

Mix and apply with mist bottle.

apply a couple times daily

also get some lady bugs

if your hydro grow you can also remove your plant and drown it! JK

Submerge would be a proper term under water in like a bathtub for 5 or so minutes. clean your grow room while your doing this.

they should release from the plant. then spray regularly.

smc leaf wash works well also. And sulphur will also act as a mite deterrant.
Neem oil works to keep them at bay once you can get them gone for a couple days.

The homemade spray that was reccomended above is an old gardeners trick that works for more than just spidermites and is tested and works. Alcohol soap and water is about all you need to control most pests.

alright this is potential advice...dont take it literally but........i have herd from a credible source that nicotine is a awsome extremly powerful pesticide and i herd if you smoke a cigerette and breathe the smoke onto the plant it is supposed to attach and suffocate the "SUPER MITES" but i have not ever herd of this being attempted and/or working it might kill them or it might kill your plants

the best way to use nicotine as a pest killer is to take a couple ciggarettes and break em up. Put the tobacco in a glass of warm water or put it in a put of water and boil for a few minutes or until the water turns brown.

WEAR GLOVES as nicotine is a POISON and can hurt you in high concentrations.
Strain the fluid into a spray bottle and let sit till room temp or add cool water to bring the temps to tolerable. Spray down your plants with that mixture and your mites will dissappear.

This is just one of many ways to use household items to eliminate pest problems.
