I like that song called "read the forum rules"........

ahh, c'mon. what i miss.:hubba: . always a day late. lol...

welcome to MP dudette. yeah, musta been a slight error, eh? stop by the forum rules, read 'em, and you'll be much more comfortable posting on site, as to whats allowed, and what is'nt.;) ...

again, welcome...Irish...

Grateful Dead always works for me. If you feel like dancing, then go with Robert Randolph "Live at the Wetlands" if you don't get up and dance, you are dead. lol Great album

I'm old school, so this probably won't help you much. Pink Floyd would have been my first suggestion, but you're not looking for that. How about Alan Parsons? Not really fair, because he helped produce DSOTM by PF, but relaxing just the same.

Or. how about some classical music?

Perhaps some newer prog rock...?

Tool or A Perfect Circle.... always a couple of my faves even tho I'm an OLD fart.. lol...:p

:headbang2: Rock ON! :headbang2:

yeah Legend is the best...

tracy chapman is soothing too

elvis

garth brooks

tom petty always works for me..

Bob Marley
sublime
Ben Harper
jack johnson ;
are good chill artists

white rabbit by jefferson airplane is a pretty wild song ;)
there's a thread around here of 'song you listen to while stoned' or something, shouldn't be hard to find :)

Sevendust, garth brooks, van morrison, stely dan, rush, montgomery gentry, etta james, america, godsmack, deep purple, black label society, slipknot, frank sinatra, styx, journey, metallica, queensryche, jimmy cliff, vixen, brooks and dunn, billy vera, blues traveller....i can't really think of any.

Enya has some laid back easy listing give them a try or The Moody Blues very laid back music :D

Di Mitri is pretty chilled
Robert Miles is also very relaxing (great for putting puppies to sleep)

People always find this odd about me because I have always listened to outlaw country music and I am dang near pure Redneck but Pink Floyd is my ABSOLUTE favorite band. I used to stick my head between my Mother's speakers and just veg out to them. Iron Butterfly and Deep Purple rank right up there too

Yep deep purple is awesome, but when I want to relax and just let the herb do it's job I go sit by the river in total silence and just marvel at all this great earth has to offer. This often brings insight to problems that I am facing, or just plain ol' serinity. I live on a huge lake so I often lower the boat and just take a slow ride... sometimes for hours. Just bring plent of MJ and unwind!
