Noticed nut burn a few days ago and did a flush. My question is how long do you have to flush before you can reintroduce nutes? And the leves that were burnt, will they get better? If you want to see pics I posted a couple days ago.

id wait atleast a week to a week and a half to introduce any nutes and if you do at very small doses when you get nute burn the plant is trying to tell you something, obviously it didnt like something you did

Old leaves that are damaged will stay that way most likely. Look at the new growth that will tell you more. Also like the previous poster said wait like a week or so and start back on the feed, maybe start at 1/4 dose. Now if the plant shows yellowing sooner than a week it wants to be fed. Good luck, flushing IMO is something that people should do more often, not just when there are problems.

Hey lowryder, I see your a Dallas fan. LOL it's all good, I'm a Eagles guy born and raised. I know we aren't supoosed to do sports but some friendly razzing here and there is fine with me. This takes a lot of heart, just so you know what kind of guy I am....good season. LOL, like I said it's all good.

Thanks for the input, I will wait a little for the nutes. The nutes I was using is called "Vierras Liquid Castings". It says on the bottle the dose for hydro is 1/4 cup per gal.. That seems a little much to me. Also is it bad to change brands of nutes during mid veg. or can this cause problems?

IMO let the potter air out from the flush. then you can intrduce the nutes back to the plant at 1/4 strength to start, then work your way up. again i also wouldnt change the kind of nutes, brand wont have any harm on them but if its a different N-P-K ratio it may e/g/ using a 20-20-20 during veg and mid way through switching to a 5-1-1 would possibly throw your plant for a loop as it would change how much of the nute its getting. but going from a FF product to an brand X that both have the N-P-K of 20-20-20 wouldnt be any cause for concern.

after you flush her out, you'll be fine. i've found with my hydro, whatever it calls for, mix it a little weak every time and you'll be okies.
