Got a call from one of my friends that is also using the EarthBox at my suggestion. He is getting fade way too early even for the auto’s he is growing. I asked him what his PH was and he said he had decided to ignore it since he is using tap water.

This is important. If you run a closed loop system like an earthbox it can be setup to run start to finish in an awesome and spectacular way.

But the earthboxes can’t be full flushed and just half flushing one is hard. The method I am using is exact it won’t suffer changes, substitution or incorrect PH.

Yeah pH is definitely important.
Especially around my area. Our tap runs 7.7-8.3 out the faucet. We pH down all our water to 6.2-6.5 prior to adding nutes. I know this and I don't even have a closed loop system.
Chalk it up to lazyness maybe? Some people want the end result without going through the process of dialing in a system.
My grow partner didn't correct anything in his last grow. And 1-2 oz per plant at 4' tall proved he needed help learning how to make corrections.

Sorry I was venting. He’s an older friend of mine and is an excellent gardener. Being an excellent gardener he knows his tap water has been growing vegetables for years so he skipped that step.

It appears the fan leaves on the Skunk#1 and Ice Princess are starting to fade. The C99xPurple Urkle is still not fading
