Sheep gotta smell better than goats. I had a pet pigmy goat for a while. You could pet him, wash your hands twice, and it would still smell like goat.

Onion and garlic juice work too.
Ours don’t smell much. I got home and smelled my fingers and I honestly couldn’t smell any livestock smell to them. They felt tacky though. The Lanin oil their wool has gives an odd feel to the finger tips. Makes it feel like you could swing the hell out of a baseball bat.
Our sheep are Katahdin, they shed their wool each spring.
Goats are much more interesting. They have personalities. Sheep just want food. Well, buddy the Ram wants food and one other thing.
Speaking of, the Ram doesn’t tear the dang fence down like a billy goat will. Much more docile.
