Went to turn the eggs and had a chick!! Six days early. This egg must have had a broody mom and it sat on it a few days before I got them. I say a few more so I stuck them in a different incubator. The guy gotta live with the quail for now. That’s a day old chick mixed in with week old quail.

Probably not. I don’t really know the term but I am not a fan of altercation without just reasons. Really didn’t want the silkies but the lady that gave me the Serama eggs said if I had silkies I didn’t want she would take them.

This chick won’t live with the quail. Since it was a week early I was not ready with a brooder space. They can live with quail for a few days. But will quickly outpace the quail in size and compatibility
