Good morning brothers and sisters!

A partially cloudy day here starting at 52F and predicted to reach 78F.

My back is maybe some better after the steroid injections, but not dramatically so this morning. Improvement can ostensibly take up to two weeks, so watching with bait on my breath!

Alas, I tried to set up an A-Team luncheon, but my 90-year-old associate has been ill for the last couple of months and sadly it doesn't look like he will recover.

I talked with an old 78-year-old Marine Corps buddy who was circling the drain last time I saw him and got lost visiting me the last two times, so that I had to go get him and guide him here, despite having been here at least a hundred times. Miraculously he was alert and sharp again after heart surgery. The issue with his mind was poor blood supply to his brain.

I ended up making luncheon arrangements with my old boss, whom is 88 years old, a vegetarian, uses a pacemaker, but works out daily at the gym and is otherwise in good shape.

Off to the gym this morning and we are scheduled for dinner out at Uncle Chen's Dynasty tonight with NM!

I had a scare yesterday. Woke up the other morning real early and my heart was beating erratically. Checked my blood pressure and it was 207/140. ER trip, was in AFIB until I started get hydrated. Three IV bags and some tests. No stroke. No heart attack. I guess I was more dehydrated than I thought.
While waiting to go to ER I was looking out over the yard at the toys strewn about and all I could think of “I got to live though this, I have two little kids I gotta raise”.
I really thought I might die at first. First three things that trigger afib, alcohol, nicotine and caffeine. So I cut all three completely. Got a cardio appointment in a week or so for more testing. I feel good now but I super paranoid. I’ve been exhausted at work for weeks but I figured it was the summer heat, still losing sleep with the babies at night.
I keep thinking my heart is off then I check it and it sounds good.
I’ll feel better when I see a specialist. Unless I get bad news. Only 36, man I’ve had a rough year.
I dealt with it for years until they figured out it was my thyroid. Have your TSH levels checked.

Said thyroid levels were good. I’ll feel better once I get more testing. I am a big fan of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. They hand picked their teams. All the way to the floor cleaners. Place smells good, not a speck of dirt in any hallway.
I refuse any treatment or diagnosis from a contracted Dr. Hospital isn’t liable for their actions. And they will skip right out of the country when needed.

When I got my 1st TSH test in the hospital it was at 9.6😱
Meds dropped it down to 4.8 .
BUT,,,if you have AFib you want it down around 2.8.
So I upped my dosage of Levothyroxine from half a pill at 12mg to a whole pill at 25mg. Now my TSH levels are around 2.8
I haven't had but one problem in 2 yrs and that was my fault for drinking a cup of coffee I thought was decaf and it turned out to be regular coffee. I never did it again.
No Coffee, Tea or Chocolate for me.

Evening folks. I miss smoking weed, but it seems to aggravate my heart rhythm so for now I’m off it. Dang I’ve quit everything I enjoyed. Weed. Coffee. Alcohol and cigarettes.
My anxiety has gotten back to normal. Now if I could just shake this funky mood. It’s been a heck of a year. Sister died, moms real bad with her heart. Dad had hip replacement. My back. Now my heart. I’m like a cat in a rocking chair factory. Looking over my shoulder for the next turd to fall.

On a good note, staying in the house so much I started a new model. Got the wing framed out, heading ti town tomorrow and I’ll pick up a few sticks of balsa I need ti frame the ailerons out. Been so hot and dry the grass hasn’t needed cutting in three weeks.
