I still can't make quality product after three grows. I just don't get it!

Being in Spain I would look at nitrate levels for the tap water you are using. I believe it’s due to aggressive farming and the way the water table works in Spain. I say this because you are describing a chemical smell that usually comes from over fertilizing.

I would suggest, if this is the problem, finding a different way to water when you flip to 12/12. One possibility is using RO water only during the 12/12 stage.

did u sprey someting on the buds ?
in one of my last grow i sprayed some Salicylic acid on the buds so it's taste was so F horrible ( took it all to trash T_T )
did u sprayed somthing on the buds?
do u know what decarboxylation is ?
p/s bad strain or medical strain with only cbd can be the result of bad high or stone effect

I used the following pretty much every day (starting about a month from seed; BioGrow during veg, BioBloom during flower):

BioBizz pH plus
BioBizz BioGrow
BioBizz BioBloom
BioBizz CalMag

So let me get this straight: assuming I water every day, should I only use those about once a week? Also, check pH more often than not at all? ;)

It woud make sense that I went completely overboard with those nutes and made all three strains smell the same and have the same effect.

I'm not familiar with those nutrients and really rusty on coco.

If your feeding to much the signs will show up. Then you'll spend time chasing that issue.

How bout some nice pics of what your seeing.

I had all kinds of problems with the first grow due to my inexperience. It stretched like Manute Bol and suffered from lack of NPK (most likely).

The second and third plant didn't show any symptoms. I don't have any pictures of the third one before cutting. The buds are already in jars.

OK, so I been working on the coffee and Pinch Hitters this AM... Personally, I generally only spray/mist clones. Humidity is way crazy in Central, IL. In the summer, I would never spray/mist regular plants here. I would also never spray/mist buds summer or winter. Main reason for me is bud rot, and PM. Then again, I remember someone was doing the water cure thing here maybe a year back or so.

NPK is a tricky beast. Being new and learning the signs is a rollercoaster ride sometimes.

When I returned to growing I was all over the place with what I wanted to do. I damaged plants and made mistakes but eventually I found peat and Jack's. Stored my ph ppm pen and never looked back.

I've grown hydro, coco, soil, and peat. I picked salts and peat to grow. Never used dry nutrients before but I tell ya my grows speak for how effective and easy jacks can be and cheap as well. I no longer chase methods or mediums. I have total confidence in Jack's and I'll not change a thing.

Find something simple and stick to it. Then when and if things go wrong you make minor adjustments and keep rolling.

So far I've grown Gorilla Glue, Sour Durban and I just put Shiva Skunk in jars a few days ago. They all SUCK. The smell is unpleasant and differs a lot from the sweet, intoxicating smell of quality weed. It's hard to describe. The high is very tiring (not in a good way) and makes me feel irritable and not much else.

I'm saying I don't get it because we're talking about three different strains that somehow all wound up the same. I've read plenty of guides and tips and my setup is fairly decent. I don't think I made any mistakes during my last grow: 250W MH air-cooled lamp (switched to HPS bulb for flower) at 16/8h and then 12/12, mylar foil, big carbon filter + inline fan, big fabric pots, everyday watering with NPK, CalMag etc. I topped and manifolded them ASAP.

What am I doing wrong? Could fertilizers be the culprit? I use BioBizz because it's cheap, but I'll definitely try another brand just to be sure. It's so frustrating, man. All this work and I don't even feel like taking two hits from a vaporizer.

You know what, I kinda went through that same thing when I first started growing. Everything just seemed bland. There was no real difference in my weed.
I was using Fox Farm everything, btw.
I just kept on growing, and can’t tell you anything I did differently other than switching to the simplicity of Jacks.
Of course, there is that Jacks thing, lol.
Seriously, my weed is jacked up on Jacks.
I am really high right now, btw.

You seem to be high a lot lately.. 😆 I like that.

I did spray it every day, but I only used plain water.
I would do your best to not spray them in the bloom unless bugs or PM show up, Especially wouldn't spray later in bloom as you can get bud rot in your bigger buds. You mentioned your grow gets to hot that's why you spray. Try changing your on time to night 8pm to 8am?

looking at your grow journal it looks like your buds started to get a zinc or calcium deficiency. I would start with checking your ph and also check your run off ph and EC. It matters more what your run off is then what you feed it. If the ec is too high then use Water if its low then fertilizer next watering.

Never used organics but might want to try some mycorrhizal bacteria to help make the fertilizer more available to the plants.

If your buds arnt smelling like normal buds could be too much nitrogen or not enough Sulphur. Sulphur is the big element to make the plants smell. Plants will take up the most sulphur and Potassium starting week 4 of bloom. Potassium Sulphate is my go to with a little ebson salt on top. If you miss this window to get it in there you will see the fan leaves in the middle of the plant start to yellow and work its way up.

I personally moved away from using cal mag in the bloom as too much nitrogen will make your buds smell like hay and harsh. I prefer making my own with ebson salt with some calcium chloride and Iron. IF your buds are harsh or black ash it could also be a deficiency in micro nutrients as well. I like to build my own nutrients but it is a deep rabbit whole you shouldnt go down first. Would suggest going with salts to start as others have said ive used athena and hgv but I would go jacks tbh there is very little difference in salts a little more of this and that but the price point can be crazy different.

What separates the beginning grower from the best grower is taking lots of notes so you have something to look back at. take lots of pictures and have fun with it!
