OK so i took 3 cuttings yesterday. I dipped the bottom in Dip N Grow and stuck it in some of the only soild i could find the house here. well that had soem time released fert. in it. anyway they wilted really bad so i threw them out.

Today i went to walmart and bought some 'seed starting soil' took two cuttings made the soil moist out it in peat pot dipped them and put them in the pots. they wilted really fast. i was getting discouraged and then i came to this site to look around i guess that i was doing wrong was no dome. i dont feel like running out again so i made my own version. i misted the plants before i covered them. let me know what if this will work or not.

Im getting frustrated with this cloning business. at least i know i got 2 seeds starting to sprout. :)

The easyest way ive found is to use rockwool and just keep the very bottom of it wet, no domes are needed and you will have great success.

Keep that soil wet at first and they should perk back up, IMO overmisting and domes make my clones wilty and limp.

Somtimes seed starter soil contains nutes, are you sure there is none in yours?

No nutes that i know of. they are doing ok so far they sprung back from being wilted already. I think ill leave them in there for anouther day of so then ill take'm out.

yea if they perked up then just leave themin there and they should be fine.

Ive never cloned before but im thinking of making a really small ghetto dro cloner, just to get root growth and put in soil later.Maybe it's something you could think of

even if you don't mist (which you need to cloning soil) you want to take the dome off and replenish the air 2X a day....o'wise it is suffocating in there. What is you temp couldn't see the temp display. is that 71? or 77?

Also a propagation mat is a very good thing to have. Rockwool is cool, but if you can get your hands on some rapid rooters, I think you will be amazed. I know I am:cool:
