Growing Problems past the seedling stage

Here's how the girls look this morning. I say "girls" because the preliminary gender ID is all girls; which I find kind of hard to believe unless I didn't read the seed description very well before I ordered them. They re-test all the samples for confirmation. This lab specifically ask for a cotyledon so you can sex them when they are still really small. They said they could test an older plant by using new young growth; that's what I sent. I think I am going to submit samples to the other lab today. It's all about learning.
All in all I think the tops are looking good. The tent is full but they aren't squished together. I did some grooming last night and cleaned up the lower part and clipped off leaves that were blocking upcoming potential flowers. I watered but I think I'm gong to mix up some Fox Farm Big Bloom for the next watering cycle. 👍 🌱 🙃

Looking beautiful Julie.

Those are females. You just got lucky or feminized seeds. If you see ball sacs (pollen nodules) then they are guys.
Goodmorning all;
Yesterday was transplant day. I did everyone based on the preliminary "all girls" determination I went for it. I really like the one gallon bag pots. Super easy to transplant from and; I think; a great transition from Solo cup to final pot. They were about as root bound as it figured. I thought everyone looked healthy. I peeked in this morning and they jumped up. I expect some huge growth this week.
The other think I added was a Blue Stone. Got it on Amazon and it's a ceramic ball in a dish of water. It wicks up the water and adds humidity. I was down to the 40% range. The house is dry so I boosted the tent. 71% this morning but the 3 gallon fabric pots are adding a lot. I read 50 to 70% for vegetative period so will monitor and remove the Blue Stone if I need to.
The scrog is ready but I'm not sure. I think they need to grow more first but I'm worried about getting to the plants in the back of the tent for water and such. I painted myself into a corner with only access through the front opening. I kinda blocked the side opening with the equipment. Still exploring the mini-tomato cage for initial support and something to tie to. I would still be able to maintain and monitor everyone if I can move them around.
Hope you all have a Happy Growing Day!!! 🌱 🙃

So I knew my tent is short, 5 feet tall, and I moved the fan vent on the outside and also have rigged the lights to get within a few inches on the top. I didn't anticipate using an octopot which is pretty tall, but I got an indica strain which are short and squat.

Not sure how tall they'll grow, but if they double I'm ok, but if it's more then that'll probably be an issue. I read indicas usually get 50-100% taller during flower and sativa's are 100-200% taller. I'm planning on just using one next and it can slide up and down so I think I'm ok. Lol well see!!

And therein lies the next question. When do they flower; or I switch them to flower? Thanks all.

Umm they're about week 11-12 ish before I switched since I had slow growth due to pH problems then under and over watering. I think it'll be good though! Hoping for crazy purple buds.

OK....I have a calendar so I actually know how old they all are. Cool..... Thank you 👍 ;)🌱

And the results are in..... LeafWorks showed this one plant as being male. Everyone else is female. See the photos I just took trying to see the pollen sac. I think I see it....in one photo better that the others. I still do not have a double confirmation from DeltaLeaf..... Deltaleaf was $10 per plant and Leafworks was $15. Leafworks sent me an email 2:02 PM and at 3:46 PM sent me the results. Just the sheer speed of the test was awesome.
I will use Leafworks in the future. I think knowing ahead of time and not growing them up and wasting my time and good potting soil is a big plus for me. I'm small potato's here.
I now feel confident that I don't have to shop for feminized seeds-I can decide based on the actual strain.

PS-the one boy is one of the very first plants I got to grow past a seeding. The good news is that the soil has been in this pot for a few weeks so I will only try to salvage the fabric pot. When I start digging it up I will take pictures of any interesting findings. 👍 🌱;)

Well I think my feminized seeds were $15 each and non feminized was like $9 ish? But if the tests are $15 then not only are you wasting space, but time, soil and potential for pollen spread.

Also I don't see any pollen sacs on your photos.

I try with the photos....Maybe they are just way tinier than what I'm trying to see. So, I'm down to 6 plants and now I can count up how old everyone is to determine starting the flowering part.
I don't know if it matters but they can do other tests like potency. Thank you. 👍 🙃

Random question. Should we be defoliating the small leaves near the bottle during flower since it's wasting energy to make big leaves? I defoliated the bottom 1/3 prior to flower however there's a bunch of leaves forming at the defoliated spots and I doubt they're receiving much light

The final gender test for Deltaleaf also indicated 6 girls and 1 boy. I already moved him out. Now on to training in prep for flowering. 🙃 🌱

Been struggling about supporting the girls as I am switching them to flowering. I was cruising YouTube DIY for trimming/flowering and one guy said he switched the lighting by 1 hour a day till 12/12. I don't know if it's a good idea but I caged them today and switched the timing by one hour last night and one more hour today. Tonight will be 16 hrs light/8 hours dark Started at 18/6.
Couldn't come up with a way to install the net I made. It's heavy and awkward. I have a plan for using it next time by installing it ahead when they're smaller and the setting it as they get bigger. I need to order more of the ratcheting ropes like on the light. I went ahead with the mini tomato cages. The tent is 30"X30". The "saucers" under the grow bags are square 10"X10" and the mini cages have rings that start at 10" diameter but they are adjustable. I only put 2 rings and clipped each possible flower branch so it's supported. I can move them, take them out for watering or adding rings and more support 6 plants is probably too much for the tent but no option yet. I'm shopping another smaller tent. My room is getting full.
The other thing was a feeding today. First one. The instructions are 1 tablespoon for maintenance and 4 tablespoons for deep feeding. I put 2; 1/2 way between. I'll need the step stool soon to monitor the buds. Thank you all....Happy Growing. 🙃 🌱 👍

Looking for my nest seed purchase.
12/12 on flip. All that other isn't necessary.
OK...That's why I threw that out there. I'm over thinking it again. Will move to 12/12. What are the rules? Absolute darkness (no peeking) for 12 hrs. Peeking OK during light cycle.
What about temperature and humidity? I've seen talk about one of the purple strains that the tent wasn't cool enough to get the purple. Right now the tent stays between 68 and 72 with 50% humidity. The fan is running all the time on #4 speed. I can cool the room down by shutting the heater vent that is right in front of the tent.🤔🌱

Light leaks during the dark stage can stress the plant, confuse it and make it Hermi.
In soil I try and keep it below 85. In Hydro your solution needs to stay below 75.
oh yea... hummm How long does this take? Generally, I realize they can all be different. The package said "Reg seed". They are 12 weeks old and older. They are super happy; except one runt. I topped and trimmed up yesterday. Got rid of all the lower leaves and branches and left branches that look like they will try to be flowers. All supported so I don't have to touch them. I actually found a watering can with a real long reach spout, clear plastic with measurements on it so I can see the amount of water for each. 🌱 🤔

good evening guys, i have some headaches with one of my plants again. Its forming some deformed leaves from time to time. It just formed a few sets of damaged leaves again. The newest ones on top are looking better again. Anybody seen this? 2 Other plants are looking good.I tried to look up some answers but people give a myriad of reasons and opinions on this :(

I looked in my book and this kinda looks like your plant. I will look some more in my other book. 🌱 🙃
