Growing Problems past the seedling stage

With a 2 x 4 It is easy to get 10 oz, Supposedly it's capable of one pound. Trying as hard as I could, I have yielded 15+ oz, 12 is a lot easier!

Within 2 to 3 grows, that will allow a lot of product to build up. Then you have a good selection of wake/bake, daytime and nighttime strains. Add some qwet, bubble and regular hash to the stash. Then growing is very relaxed.

This is one person consumer use, obviously not commercial or high quantity growing.

I didn’t weigh my product after my first grow. I know I should have but I got 6 quart jars full. I will weigh the next time to see just how much I get But I was really happy with that amount for my first grow Whatever it was 😂. Looking forward to having that stash of strains to choose from in the future.

Hard to judge depending how tight jars are packed, but I can get 2 oz in one. Not to cure, but already cured bud. Somy scientific wild ass guess is around 12 oz. Usually some is smoked by then.....

Well, 12 jars, say 4 grows, 48 jars, 96 oz.....of course that assumed 12 oz each time and nothing goes wrong. Let's say you loose half that...48 oz right?

Ok, 4 grows 8 weeks apart...(you do clones right?) 32 weeks assuming back to back grows....not that far away! 😊

Lol I guess that question is to anyone who grows either gpd or a purple punch line. What temps did you need to get to the purple? At night I'm at the low 60's usually so I'm hoping I can get it purple.

Peteovich, why are your top leads kind of all brown and funny looking? With a 30 cm x 40 cm you might want to top just once and that's pretty much it. Can't really do much as you can probably have room for 4 colas and that's about it which would be one topping

Also 10+oz in a 2x4 with how many watt lights total and how long is your veg and flower cycle each?
I heard getting 1 gram a watt is pretty good and in using a total of 220 which would be 7.8 oz

60s was where mine purpled the most. Some pheno types of GDP don't always purple. Nukeheads has a strain they call GDP green, they say sometimes it purples some times not, the cooler temps will bring it out, usually 6th or 7th weeks it seems about when it begins.

nah theyre not brown, its just the reflection that makes them look that way on the fotograph..i used the photoflash because i really wanted to catch that dark green. A little too dark for my taste. I dont even wanna do "topping"...i only wanna cut anything if its really needed or when avoiding it would significantly reduce harvest. I tried to find some good videos on how to trim plants in small spaces, like lets say...the officeshelf at my workplace...just an example.
Informations are not really satisfying because different people contradict each other.
on this picture you can see the difference in colour between older and newer growth.

I have a nice scale but just didn’t weigh it. I should have tho I know this now so at least I could compare with my next grow. I will next time. So if there is about 2 oz in a qt jar cured like the one in my pic I guess I got about 12 oz ish in my first grow in the 2x4 tent. thanks For the math help 😎

Ok Bubba, now I see what you are saying 😊 yes I did clones this time just to try my hand at it but don’t know if I will do that again depending on how they do In the end. If I get the same 12 oz I will definitely do it again every other grow at least not taking clones from clones that just sounds wrong to me for some reason 😶I do have an area with a pretty good plant light also in my MBR (no tent) that can veg for several weeks. My spring nuggets are starting ther now as they grew out of their little greenhouse seedling box. This gives me a little head start putting them in the tent so I can put them in flower sooner. So although I dont have room for that 4x4 tent, I’m still managing to save a little time for more grows if not bigger ones. I also plan to grow a couple outside this summer for the first time as it is legal now in my state

I still haven’t figured out the watt light total thing. I veg for as long as I can trying to fill up the entire screen and dont put in flower till I’m worried about the height Reaching the lights during the last growth spirt in flower. My last flower took 10 weeks before it was ready to harvest

im running the spider light 2000 in my spider tent if that helps on the watt question. I run at 100% most of the grow after the veg cycle is going well

60s should be good. Mine was closer to 80

Right. By having those sprouts, then veg now ready to stick in flower as current batch is harvested. Then the next grow will only be as long as flower takes...stash builds quickly, then you can relax, occasional 2x4 grow to maintain and add strains.

Your plants look nice and not crowded yet
Here's how the girls look this morning. I say "girls" because the preliminary gender ID is all girls; which I find kind of hard to believe unless I didn't read the seed description very well before I ordered them. They re-test all the samples for confirmation. This lab specifically ask for a cotyledon so you can sex them when they are still really small. They said they could test an older plant by using new young growth; that's what I sent. I think I am going to submit samples to the other lab today. It's all about learning.
All in all I think the tops are looking good. The tent is full but they aren't squished together. I did some grooming last night and cleaned up the lower part and clipped off leaves that were blocking upcoming potential flowers. I watered but I think I'm gong to mix up some Fox Farm Big Bloom for the next watering cycle. 👍 🌱 🙃

Could you please describe the gender test kit and did you find it reliable.
I found 2 gender test labs to try. I tried DeltaLeaf first. They ask for a cotyledon from when the plant first has serrated leaves. I emailed and they said any new baby growth would work. The test is a piece of blotter paper (looks like coffee filter) between 2 pieces of plastic. You press or lightly pound the sample into the paper. The preliminary results are that they are all female (F?). They re-test all the samples for confirmation. I was super, super careful to label and double check that only one sample was from each plant. In other words, before some Strawberry Mimosa.;)
The other company is Leafworks. I just noticed that the lab is about an hour from where I live. Anyway, will prepare and send samples to them for verification. Will see if they all agree.
In addition I photographed everyone last night and have attached them. Does anyone see gender things? It's just not clear to me even though you all have send me pictures of what I'm looking for. The photos help but I just don't see it yet. Thanks everyone.
We just made a major change to our travel plans for the summer so I can start another grow. Going seed shopping. Need input - just feminized? Photo-what-cha-ma-call-it (and what does that mean? or Auto flowering?
What grow is somewhat easy? Thank all for your time. 👍🌱🙃

Wow that's really dark green. Looks like mine when I gave waaaay to much nitrogen early. Now that I zoomed in I can see the reflection.

I watch videos on people doing research so I suggest Debacco university on youtube for which you can see evidenced based methods to find out the truth. I don't like the "bro science" like flushing or darkness prior to harvest. Also things like organic for which doesn't really matter. I'm a biochemist by trade so I know how molecular structures break down and is utilized by plants (also my father was a botanist). Anyways I need to see concrete numbers to implement a change.
