Where are the pictures? I have so much to learn and show and tell works best for me. The nets arrived today and the other parts should be here Sunday. Looking forward to building the Scrog. Can I have please have some closeups of how I use it? My plant explosion is touching the walls on all 4 sides.
I just think this plant is so pretty. It's one of the two seedlings that I finally didn't murder and they grew. My notes start from last April and if I had of sought advice I could have done better. At least I am starting feel a little more accomplished now that I am getting some growth. My vegie garden was always happy and produced lots - tomatos, lemon cucumbers, peppers etc... And then I tried this project and everything is so different. Upside-down.
this was my last and also first grow. I used two nets one when they started to grow uneven then another just before putting them into flower. It’s easy to maintain a nice canopy and fill in every square inch with tops using a net. As much as I don’t like the fact that I have to work on the floor in a tiny space just big enough to sit down sideways i do think this is the best way if your growing in a small tent.
the picture below is my current grow, the clones from the first grow. A couple of them I will gift to another grower making room for 4 plants in my 2x4x7’ tent. They are just in young veg status now and will take a few more weeks to fill in the tent. I tied these girls down to their pots and put cane poles on one yesterday which opened them up to the light nicely but already see where their growth will become unmanageable if I don’t throw a net over them. I don’t like them totally covering the sides of the tent and feel in my situation could cause moisture problems. A few leaves touching the side I don’t mind as long as they can get air all around them. I do believe you can use multiple lst methods to get your desired look and your plants will help you decide that. Just tuck those long limbs under the net and the next day your bud sites will start turning up to the lights. Good luck with your grow Julie. Post it now and then when you can so we can all see and learn from how you did. Come here too for help. There are a lot of smart growers here to learn from
