ummm if they get your hardrive yes.
To get the IP addy or anything they would have to get there mits on the server which is in a MJ friendly country.
but as far as you own HD. slap it up against a speaker magnet then chuck it in a deep lake.
but if your only doing a small grow op and nobody knows. not worth the trouble. but if posting pics of a commercial op.....well your playin with fire anyway.

i use a usb drive for surfing and have a huge magnet and cordless drill by my back door just incase :hubba: would take me only seconds to destroy it

another thing i never do is let my pics touch my harddrive as I upload from my digi to the net via usb and resize and or edit on my digi's card then format after every time i upload.

If you get busted and they look at your pc and finf cookies and stored passwords and find that you have been posting on how to grow and what not they can add more charges

dont really think cops have the resources to go after small time home users tho like us....

I use Foxfire with Tor enabled, which hides my true IP. As for cleaning the hard drive, their are good cleaning software out there. Just set it up to clean your hard drive every night, then you will not have anything to worry about. But like it was stated, I do not think LEO has the man power to worry about small fries like us.

There are so many millions of folks seeking ways to protect themselves that hiding, or becoming stealth yourself is now the rage.
I like using Evidence Eliminator, cause I have seen how a hard-drive can be ghosted , and tons of info pulled off of it.
Our freedoms are slowly becoming more, and more watched over. In an effort to deal with this problem, I believe that it will take all of us together to find ways of protecting ourselves and each other. You cannot get busted for what you say about marijuana in general terms, but yeah pics that can provide evidence should be dealt with, as well as personal info about your own grow. I would never advise placing certain kinds of info on my puter, such as my best friends grow, and his or her address, and things like that . Always set yourself times when you can go into your puter and do some clean-up, this isn't something that you can be wishy-washy about. One must cover one's backside cowboy.

well dudes, thanx very much for your input and i`ll let you all know how the "clean-up" goes.
little bit of paranoia on this issue, and even though i have just a lil grow-basically 6-12 gals in flower, i only give to my friends and family. and "up in smoke" with the rest!!
cheers peeps and i`m gonna take a few vallium and chill out. worrying about nothing really.
but- i`d rather be safe than sorry.

Hey man, Ive been looking up this "Tor" for firefox. And i discovered the way it works is via connecting your browser through a free IP. Do you notice any internet performance issues while using this??
