funky tent plant

[grass hopper]

each tent grow seems to have 1 or 2 weak plants with the majority strong and impressive. this gro is 1 month in with most buds stacking up nicely. this 1 plant has has very small buds . plant did stretch well but buds are extremely weak and strange to me. would love to know why. any thoughts would be helpful. thanks.

You're not growing from clone then, you seem to be growing from seed... if you're saying "every run there seems to be 1"

With this said, and especially with FEM beans, you can get genetic mutation within the line. Thissss is quite an interesting mutation! Never seen pistols like that lol!

am on 12/12 as usual. other girls looking exceptional for 1 month in. am starting with fem seeds as the doc figured, nice call doc. always seem to get 1 or 2 at most light or in this case very light producers. 18 others are great. just love to know why?? fem mutations sounds good. i did not notice alt. leaves. hmm. thanks

I'm with Rosebud--it looks to be revegging. I suspect a small light leak somewhere as you are getting this every grow. I think that there is little doubt that they are revegging--the single non-serrated leaves are a dead give-away, along with the small bud development, I think it is a surety.

It could be that there is a light leak that is shining just enough light on the plant that grows in that particular spot. If you have room enough to get in there with them with the lights off and totally closed up, once your eyes adjust, if there is a light leak, it will show itself. If no light leak, then genetic anomaly. Always look for the patterns in nature for clues to problems.

thanks, last grow i got some really nice ,lg buds that had these single, nonserrated leaves. they ended with a round leaf tip and were very dark green in color. near and around buds sites mostly. again these were large, juicy ripe buds with leaves like that. thoughts?? thx.

did light check. few pin holes and about a 1 inch small opening at cord entry. i fixed that. this tent is in basement and timers coincide with normal day/night darktime. even if tent doors left open, the basement would be black anyway.Note; i did leave tent open to water 2 hours longer than 12/12 schedule. was late to water and plants were very dry. could 1 day of 2 much light cause reveg in 1 of the plants??

also of note, the 2 tallest main branches are by far the funkiest. the smaller tops are much closer to normal. 50% smaller than other plants. not bad though.

that 1 day made it prob 13 to 13.5 hours of light total. then back to 12/12. never thought of genetic mutation. makes sense. good to know WHY. Do love fem seeds though. thx
