also would 2 plants per pot be a terrible thing if i tied them over or something for a fat bush, or is that not a good idea

Follow the advice that has already been given in this thread. You'll do fine by it.

:yeahthat:

Yes it is POSSIBLE to have more than one plant per pot, but you will have alot more complications and save yourself alot of time and stress if they all have their own pot

rajah, point taken. i seen enough of all ur fatty nugs to not question haha more pots and soil ASAP, did anyone happen to see my question about nutes? used my first mix ver yesterday wasnt sure if the water should look discolored is that normal or a sign of too much?

I dont grow in soil, but as a short term solution, is there anything else around the house you could use instead of pots, maybe a plastic drink bottle with the top cut off, anything is better than 2 plants in 1 pot.
One of the things I love with this forum is the creativity of the members in using whatever they have lying around to grow in or use for growing. A stealth grow using a computer case was my fav!

Looking good though fella, lots of green growing mojo on its way to ya.
Peace
W

well if ur gonna ask for advice might as well take it, the first 2 pictures are the papaya that were previously potted together, each with their own nice big one now, took the weaker plants put them in large plastic bottles cut in half, figure ill flower them early for fun in a few weeks like some little bonzais, the seedlings are together as i ran out of pots but their late to the party so hopefully that pot will yield a nice amount with a ill just let them grow togehter, theyre random seeds so wtv but i put the durban poison seedling in its own big pot

i hope so! my local growshops general manager is from my hometown and is really an expert so hes been helping me a lot, said with the wattage and method he gave me an experienced grower can expect 2000 grams per 2000 watts HPS, but for me as a beginner 1000 is realistic, also expect another 6 weeks VEG on these at least, got a good root solution today as well, my guru said give them that for a few weeks then start up the nutes, humbolt natural grow 3-1-3, the roots will ******* suck it up by then, itll be more interesting later thanks for following fellow chrons

final yield always depends on the strain - but a pound per 1000w is not unrealistic

Your guy is wrong. A very very experienced grower with his space really dialed in may get 1 gram per watt or more, but it is not common. A novice will be lucky to get 1/4 gram per watt. Do not be discouraged if your yields are low when starting out. And remember that the opinions expressed by the gm are just that--just the opinion of one person whose job it is to sell you things. This is the reason that we have forums. There is more than one correct way to grow.

Discoloration of the water with the nutes is normal. They look good man. GREEN MOJO coming your way.
