I am wanting to order some of the colored mix packs from either seedboutique or from attitude seeds and was wondering if any of the strains they offer turn purple. Also, if anyone has any personal experience with any of the greenhouse strains could you let me know how you liked them?

i agree querkle is the next on my list
but i believe if you can get your temps to drop enough most stains change color just look for indica's

So if it gets chilly it will turn purple? How cold and for how long? Also, anyone else know if the mix seeds have any purple genetics?

most people say dont let your temp drop more than 10 degrees
so i would GUESS that any temp drop of more than 10 could induce color
it might have to accually go below zero im not to sure
right now im in the 7th week and im trying to drop my temps to see if i can get color change

..cooler temps inducing color change, is nothing less than an indication of defficiency, "caused" by the cold inhibiting nutrient uptake/utilization...IMO

My Bubblicious turns purple when colder(68 in the day 62-65 at night) Mostly on the small innner leaves and bud in the last couple of weeks. I dont recommend it but it is cold in the wee northin winter and keeps the bills down. Also growth is slowed by a week or so.

true hick
ive read many articles on color changing
Cannabic Culture has a good article
here are some quotes
"while color changes indicate the state of deffeciencies, color change can also occur in heathy vigorous plants."
"the lenthening dark triggers the plant to stop production of the GREEN chlorophyll."
"not related to size or to resin production, bud color is purely aesthetic in value"
"f*cking Incredible by vancouver island seed company is a plant whose pistals change color.certain nutrient formulations with a ph of 6.8 cause F.I. to produce buds with a reddish pink or even magenta pistils,(the pics in the mag look very cool)while the same plant grown in a lower ph will develop white pistils
